didn’t answer. You guys came and she breathed a sigh of relief,” Jasper said.
He had actually been paying attention to Veronica’s expression earlier. “Do you think feelings can’t change? Once
you’ve decided someone is your little brother, is it impossible to change that to a boyfriend?”
“What about you? Would you be willing to change?” William asked, not answering directly.

Her innocent and naive expression left William feeling a bit downcast. “Yes, it doesn’t make any sense,” he replied.
