Chapter 1371 Feeling Of Being In Love
Charlotte rubbed her aching temples and sighed. “I'll talk to her tomorrow. If we really can't work it out, I'll borrow
another dress from somewhere else.”
After talking to Genevieve about this matter, Charlotte suddenly thought of something.
She placed the cup on the table and asked Genevieve in surprise, “A few days ago, I went to Imperial Club to look
for Zander and he mentioned your name. Do you two know each other?”
Genevieve swiftly recalled the weekend when she took her children to the hot spring holiday resort and ran into a
few old classmates.
“Yes, he's my high school classmate,” Genevieve said, looking up at Charlotte. “You mentioned that you knew a
senior executive at Ingenuity Entertainment. Is it Zander?”
Charlotte's face was filled with shock. “You guys were classmates?”
Genevieve stared at Charlotte's shocked expression and vaguely guessed what was going on.
Meanwhile, Armand, who was standing nearby, seemed to have guessed something as well. He appeared to be in a

sent her a love letter with roses.”
That day, everyone was playing poker together. When Armand found out that Zander was not married yet, he
thought that the latter was still unable to forget Genevieve and it made him feel annoyed.
Only then did they realize that Zander was not a good person at all.
Charlotte's pupils trembled when she heard this, and it took her a while to find her voice again. “Genevieve, did he
manage to pursue you?”
“No,” Armand answered for his wife. “She doesn't think highly of those kinds of people.”
Charlotte felt relieved at the comment. She took a few sips of the floral tea to calm herself down. “Genevieve, you
were right not to accept Zander's courtship. He really can't compare to Mr. Faulkner. Mr. Faulkner and you are a
match made in heaven!”
Genevieve couldn't help but laugh at her flattering remark. “I knew you had many ex-boyfriends, but I didn't expect
him to be one of them. But why did you choose Zander?” Genevieve was quite puzzled. “Don't you always look for
boyfriends in the entertainment industry, and prefer those with a dominant and wild personalities?”
Charlotte flicked her hair and muttered guiltily, “Isn't it because Mr. Sutton is such a gentleman that he makes
people's hearts flutter? That's why I...”
Genevieve chuckled, “Then, why don't you just pursue Coop directly?”
“Oh, I wouldn't dare.” Charlotte knew her own limits and was well aware of them. Besides, she just enjoyed the
feeling of being in love and didn't want to invest too much emotion into it.
Moreover, while Cooper may appear refined and gentle, he was extremely cunning. He was not someone she could
handle.
Genevieve had never paid much attention to those classmates, let alone Zander. She was indeed surprised to learn
that Charlotte had talked to Zander about her, but she had no intention of asking further.
After all, the circle was only this big. Hence, it was not surprising that everyone knew each other.
In addition to seeking the traditional gown master's contact information from Genevieve, Charlotte had another
matter to discuss. She whispered, “Eurydice's father has passed away.”
“I know,” Genevieve responded.
Charlotte looked at her, then turned to Armand. Her lips moved as if she wanted to say something.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmArmand spoke calmly, “Even if Mr. Gaudette did not enter politics, he was still an influential figure. I believe there
are plenty of ways to deal with him without being so blatant.”
Upon hearing this, Charlotte froze.
Even though she had little contact with Genevieve in the past and knew nothing about the situation, she could still
guess that there was no small amount of resentment between Armand and the Gaudette family. This was apparent
when considering the marriage and subsequent divorce of Yuvan and Eurydice, as well as the downfall of the
Gaudette family.
Genevieve gently reminded Charlotte, “There aren't many who dare to make enemies with the Gaudette family, let
alone take the risk to kill Mr. Gaudette.”
If Benedict's death wasn't Armand's doing, then...
At this moment, Rosa came to the living room and informed Genevieve and the others that dinner was ready.
Genevieve invited Charlotte to stay for dinner, but the latter declined. She said, “Jess is waiting for me to go back
and have dinner with her.”
When Charlotte left, she saw Genevieve and Armand going to the dining room. Genevieve scooped up some soup
from the pot, blew on it, and fed it to the man, asking him how it tasted. Armand said it was very delicious.
As soon as Amanda sat down on the chair, she clamored to have a taste. After drinking the soup that Genevieve fed
to her, she praised her mom's cooking, saying it was the best soup ever.
Charlotte watched this heartwarming scene, inexplicably feeling a bit envious.
