Chapter 1463 Let Your Dad Hold You
Asel sat on the chair across from Johanna. Each time Johanna fed her a spoonful of soup, the little girl quickly
gobbled it up, her little face full of happiness and joy.
Seeing Timothy on the stairs, Asel waved at him. “Daddy, good morning!”
Timothy muttered an acknowledgment haphazardly, striding towards the dining table. He stood beside Johanna,
dropping his gaze to look at her.
After shutting herself off from the world, Johanna showed no interest in anything beyond her personal bubble, nor
did she pay any attention to Asel. Yet, that day, she took the initiative to feed Asel breakfast.
Timothy tentatively called out, “Darling?”
Johanna looked up at him, her gaze lingering on his face briefly before saying, “Sit down and eat first. The pumpkin
soup today is quite good.”
Timothy reached out to touch Johanna's forehead.
It's not feverish, and her eyes weren't vacant but very clear when she looked at me earlier.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtJohanna had been lost in her own world for the better part of the year. After trying various methods but failing,
Timothy had given up, thinking they would continue living like that.
Unexpectedly, Johanna emerged from her bubble without any warning.
Seeing Timothy continue standing there, Asel reached up and tugged at his sweater. “Daddy, Mommy asked you to
sit and eat.”
“All right.” Timothy pulled out the dining chair next to Johanna.
Asel and Johanna had come down half an hour earlier, so Asel was already full from Johanna's feeding. “Mandy said
we're going to the amusement park today. Mom, are you and Dad coming?”
Johanna's voice was gentle and calm. “I'll go if you want me to accompany you.”
“Yay! Great!” Asel cheered excitedly.
During breakfast, Timothy kept glancing at Johanna. He wanted to say something, but Asel was even more eager to
talk to Johanna, constantly pulling at her and chattering non-stop.
After finishing the meal, Johanna went upstairs, put on a coat, and picked a beret for Asel.
Asel hadn't been close to her mother for a long time. After leaving the house, she wanted Johanna to hold her.
Feeling the little arms circling her leg, Johanna's body stiffened for a few seconds.
Johanna bent down and said, “Asel, you've grown so big that I can't carry you anymore. Is it okay if your dad carries
you?”
Asel nodded, then turned around and threw herself into Timothy's arms.
Over at Swallow Garden, Genevieve and the others were getting ready to pick up Asel. Unexpectedly, just as they
stepped out, Timothy's car arrived.
He also brought Johanna along.
The rims of Genevieve's eyes turned red when she spotted Johanna finally stepping out of her own world. She went
up to the latter and held her tightly.
Asel ran over to Amanda, excitedly telling her that she made a wish in the early morning of the new year, and it
came true, for her mother's illness was cured. It was simply miraculous.
Amanda raised her eyebrows with pride as she asked, “Aren't I impressive?”
“Yeah, Mandy is the best!”
Lucian's gaze darted between the two girls. One had an incredibly smug expression, while admiration was written

Amanda was bold for blowing hot air, and Asel dared to act as she said, blindly trusting her.
During the New Year, the amusement park was filled with children. Joy was in the air everywhere. The moment the
kids walked past the entrance, they were like wild horses running unbridled, rushing towards wherever seemed the
most fun.
Genevieve tasked the kids to Armand and Timothy, then went to find a place to rest with Johanna.
While conversing with Johanna, Genevieve keenly noticed that the former wasn't as lively as before despite stepping
out of her own bubble. She had become gentler and quieter.
However, it was still great that she was willing to step out of her own world.
The kids were tuckered after playing until three in the evening. Once gotten in the car, they were so tired that they
fell asleep immediately.
Before getting in the car, Genevieve offered, “Let's have dinner at my place tonight.”
“Maybe next time.” Johanna brushed the strands of hair from her cheek, smiling gently. “Asel has played all day and
is exhausted. I want to chat with Timothy as well.”
