Chapter 731
Renamarc?
Timothy recalled that Johanna had founded an international fashion brand alongside two other
partners. They also worked as designers at that company.
The knowledge that Hector had known Johanna for years and that their relationship could potentially be
closer than his and Johanna's made Timothy uneasy. He felt threatened.
Previously, he had joked about how Armand could not have Genevieve because there were too many
men around her, but then he experienced for himself that karma was real.
“Timothy Jensen,” he replied shortly, shaking Hector's hand as he glanced at Johanna. “I'm her ex-
husband.”
Hector's eyes seemed to glint when he heard that.
Although he had known Johanna for years, he had only connected with her on social media because
he was abroad. He knew that she was married and had a child, but he was unaware that she was

Timothy scoffed in his heart when he spotted the change on Hector's face. “What were you guys talking
about?”
“We were discussing Jojo's career projectile,” Hector answered candidly. “Renamarc will go public once
we secure enough capital. It will be a waste to keep a talent like Jojo at the company then. She's a
gifted designer, so I'm thinking about asking her to go to Kronos as the chief designer.”
Kronos was a luxury fashion label under Centum Group, an international high-end company.
Hector seemed confident that Johanna could join Kronos as the chief designer. It occurred to Timothy
that one of Kronos' stakeholders was also a Chanaean with the surname “Lee.”
Timothy guessed that Hector must be somehow related to that person.
Seeing that Johanna had remained silent all that while, Timothy asked, “So, are you taking up the
offer? You look happy.”
“Can't I be happy without going to Kronos?” Johanna argued.
“Yes, you can, but regardless, you can't go to Kronos,” Timothy said lightly. “It's based in Petalgrove. I
won't be able to see Asel anymore if you bring her there. I'm busy with work, so I can't go to Petalgrove
all the time.”
Timothy stole a short glance at Hector. “If you really want to work at Kronos as a chief designer, then I'll
become a shareholder at Centum Group. You'll be able to work remotely then.”
Hector was taken aback at first, but then he smiled, shaking his head. “Mr. Jensen, it's not that easy to
become a shareholder in Centum Group.”
Centum Group was one of the luxury brand giants in the world. Even if Timothy had money, he could
only buy their shares from the stock market. That would not be enough for him to have a say in the
company, let alone help Johanna to get a job as the chief designer.
Timothy laughed.
When Johanna sensed the disdain in his laughter, she decided to cut in. “Well, he can, actually. Since
you've spent most of your time abroad, you might not know that he,” she said, pointing at Timothy, “is
the owner of Forlisle Group.”
Hector was dumbstruck.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIt went without saying that he had heard of Forlisle Group. They were a world-renown pharmaceutical
behemoth, offering products ranging from medical equipment to drug research patents. It was a
business more profitable than any oil company.
Since Timothy had always worked at General Hospital, it was understandable that Hector had never
heard of him.
Given Forlisle Group's financial clout, it would not be a problem at all for them to invest in Centum
Group. In fact, they had what it took to even procure the entire company.
When Johanna saw how shocked Hector was, she reassured him, “What's with that look? You're not
that bad yourself. You and your team brought Renamarc to where it is today. It would never be a global
brand if it were not for you guys.”
Hector smiled. “Well, we're where we are because of the design team. The operation team can go all
out, but customers can still go for other products if the designs aren't fashionable enough. You are an
essential asset to the company. You're practically my goddess!”
Timothy's face turned cheerless as they complimented one another.
Johanna had never praised him before, yet she appeared so concerned when Hector's feelings were
affected. She even consoled and praised him. To Timothy, it was favoritism at its finest.
Never in life had he ever felt that jealous.
