Chapter 1165
[The Evans Hayward Family]
Lucius arrived at Hesperia's international airport. At the arrivals area, Frederick and Camille were waiting for him.
They recognized him instantly-he looked just like a younger version of Maximus.
"Lucius Evans?" Frederick asked respectfully.
"Yes..." Lucius replied, a bit uncertain.
"How was your flight?" Camille asked, noticing he was carrying his daughter in his arms, completely asleep.
"Amanda behaved well for most of the flight... Angela warnedand packed plenty of supplies for the long
trip."
"That's great! Welcto Hesperia! We'll take you to your new home. Serenity asked us to take you and help
with whatever you might need while she's away."
"She left?"
"Yes, well, they went to Coravela for something personal, but they'll be back by Monday or Tuesday," Camille
explained, updating him.
"Alright... Let's go, then."
"Is that the only luggage you brought?" Frederick asked, grabbing the suitcase to load into the car.
"Oh, yeah. | usually travel light, and this time's no different," Lucius said confidently.
"Hmm... You'll probably need sthings for the baby..." Camille said, surprised.
"Most of her things are in this bag... I'll go buy whatever else we need later."

"Okay, let's go. It should take us about 45 minutes," Frederick said calmly. "Alright."
"Mind if I hold your baby?" Camille asked gently.
"Oh, sure! No problem."
Lucius handed his daughter over, and she didn't even stir at the change. Camille, seeing how small and fragile
she was, felt a lump in her throat.
It was clear that little girl would need a mother. The young man in front of her was doing his best, but over time,
Amanda's needs would grow-and one of those would be having a mom.
About forty-five minutes later, Frederick's SUV pulled up in front of a house full of plants. He opened the door and
quickly gave Lucius a tour of the place.
Lucius was blown away by the house. It was perfect. It was exactly what he and his daughter needed.t was clear
that whoever had lived there put a lot of heart into making it a home. Every detail, every plant, every window-it
all seemed carefully and lovingly arranged.
"Well, Lucius, Serenity asked us to stock the pantry and fridge for you. We also brought a few things we thought
Amanda might need. If you need anything, here's my number-call anytime..."
"Thank you. | think today's been a long journey, so I'm planning to bathe Amanda and head to bed."
"Sounds good, Lucius! Oh, by the
way, Peter askedto buy a car for you. | didn't know what you liked, so he chose an SUV-figured you'd need
the space. Here are the keys. Also, he said to call your dad he probably wants to know how your arrival went."
"Thanks..."
After seeing Frederick and Camille off, Lucius stepped out to check out the car his uncle had gifted him. He
smiled and shook his head.
He knew it had to be nighttin Valentia, so instead of calling, he just sent messages to everyone waiting to
hear from him: Laura, Angela, Moriarty, Maximus, and Peter.
[We've arrived. The flight went well and Amanda is doing fine.]

his daughter and they went to bed.
