Chapter 999 Ignorance
"I'm not stopping! Are you going to steal the wheel?" Vincent's anger suddenly dissipated. He enjoyed controlling
her.
"You...!" Rachel inhaled and calmed herself. "It won't do you any good to send me home! nov.elxo I won't feel
indebted to you!"
Vincent scoffed, "I never wanted you to be indebted to me. Do you even have that sentiment?"
Suddenly, his anger inflamed again.
"I don't have that sentiment toward dogs!!" Rachel retorted.
"You dumb b‘tch! No wonder no one wants you!" Vincent gnashed his teeth. He stepped harder on the accelerator,

Rachel was slightly freaked out. She clutched the seatbelt and screeched, "Be careful! This is a 25 zone!"
"Relax. We won't get into an accident. I don't want to go to prison for you!"
Vincent was in no mood to continue the conversation with Rachel. He sent her to the office and jetted off.
Rachel was surprised as she thought he would make a few more remarks, nov.elxo but her mood was lifted when
she saw the sour expression on his face.
Vincent arrived at Gareth's office half an hour later.
Gareth was busy working when Vincent walked in and paid no mind to his arrival.
Vincent's mood worsened when he saw Gareth ignoring him.
"Oi! Are you blind? Can you not see a live man in front of you?" Vincent roared.
"Why are you shouting?" Gareth lifted his head and looked at him.
"Is your work so important that you'll rather pay attention to it than to me??"
Gareth did not know what to say.
Vincent paid no heed to his actions that seemed like an angry mistress. He pulled a chair and sat down. Suddenly,
his expression changed into one of excitement.
Gareth was used to his mood swing and did not bother with him.
Vincent smiled at Gareth with twinkling eyes. "I went to see Elisa's court case with the Benett family. Do you want to
know what happened?"
Gareth swept him a glance and focused back on his work when he saw Vincent's impatience in wanting to tell the
story.

"Hah! What act are you putting on? I know you too well, nov.elxo brother.
Elisa might have met bigger trouble this time."
Gareth's hand paused. He looked at him quietly but did not go back to work.
Vincent snickered, "No more acts?"
"Get out if you're not going to speak." Gareth's face was serious, and his voice was full of cold displeasure.
It did not scare Vincent. He sniggered and said, "Let me begin from the top. Let me tell you about what happened
at the court. Elisa was vicious."
Vincent spoke like he was expressing his own opinions and not telling the facts of the event. Gareth glared at him
fiercely while repressing the urge to strangle him.
Vincent guffawed.
