Chapter 340 Glancing at her, Cedric grabbed her hand and said, "She's injured." Andrew looked at the scratch on Noelle's hand and remarked, "It's just a scratch. If you'd cany later, it would've healed completely." Noelle's face flushed. "His arm is the one that needs attention. He scraped it on a metal locker and would require a tetanus shot." She pointed to Cedric's arm for Andrew to examine.
When Andrew saw the injury, his expression immediately grew serious. After a careful examination, he administered the tetanus shot.
Glancing at Noelle, Andrew teased Cedric, "Getting hurt while playing the hero? That's a little embarrassing, don't you think?" Andrew had known Cedric to be arrogant since childhood, yet in Noelle's presence, he seemed much more restrained, which was a rare sight. Slightly embarrassed, Cedric took over the medical kit and began disinfecting Noelle's wound himself.
The sting from the disinfectant made Noelle let out a small hiss.
"Does it hurt?" Cedric raised an eyebrow.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtNoelle knew he was deliberately teasing her.
Andrew cleared his throat and said, "Alright, you've got your shot. Now, off you go.
I'm too old for this lovey-dovey nonsense; my blood sugar can't handle it." Cedric put down the disinfectant and left the hospital with Noelle.
Noelle glanced at him and asked, "Do you know the doctor we met earlier?" "Yes," Cedric replied casually.
Noelle suddenly asked, "Are you rich or something?" Cedric paused, his gaze locking onto her face as though trying to read her thoughts, but to no avail.
"Why do you ask?" he asked cautiously.
"Well, Aristelle Hospital is owned by the Greene family, one of Yasnia's elites.
Only people with status chere, and you seem pretty familiar with that hospital director." Noelle couldn't help but find it odd.
Clearing his throat, Cedric said, "I used to be a doctor, too. Isn't it normal to know people in the sfield?" Noelle recalled that he had indeed been a doctor, though just a humble school doctor.
"Then, why did you take a job as a school doctor at a high school?" she pressed, vividly remembering that he hadn't stayed in the role long in her previous life.
Cedric glanced up at the sky and replied, "For personal reasons." Personal reasons? Noelle's curiosity deepened. She suddenly realized there was much more to this man than met the eye. "Are you hiding skind of secret?" Cedric hesitated briefly. In a low voice, he admitted, "Yes." "Don't tellyou were skind of mysterious mercenary on a covert mission," Noelle teased. "Now, you're retired but still have unfinished business?" Cedric flicked her forehead lightly. "You read too many ." He then walked ahead, his long strides leaving her scrambling to catch up.
"Then why did you cto our school to be a school doctor?" Noelle asked, still confused. It made no sense.

"Very imaginative. You'd make a great screenwriter." Noelle laughed. "How did you know I've written scripts before?"
In fact, she had written scripts for her brother, Blake. Blake was an award-winning actor and the owner of a film production company. While his acting was impressive, managing the company wasn't he kept losing money due to poor scripts. Eventually, Noelle started writing scripts for him, but Blake always dismissed her work. Ironically, one of her scripts turned out to be a blockbuster that made a fortune.
Yet, despite her success, Blake credited JSander as the main main writer, claiming Noelle was just a junior editor who did touch-ups. Once again, her achievement had been stolen. Janet, with her "most beautiful screenwriter" title, smoothly transitioned into the entertainment industry and beca celebrity.
However, Noelle wasn't going to let that happen again. This time, she was determined not to hand over that blockbuster script to Blake.
Based on her calculations, Blake's new should be airing som And yet, he hadn't paid her for the script she'd written. She would make sure she got it back- with interest!
