“Come on,” Grayson Lewis said, “sit down.”
Serenity took a seat and bluntly asked, “Where are you going to move my mother’s grave?”
“Let’s talk about that later,” Grayson waved his hand. “Let’s talk about what’s going on between you
and your sister. I’m going to be the peacemaker for both of you today. No matter what happened,
you’re still family, you know. As the elder sister, you should always protect your little sister,”
“All I want ia ‘enow,” Serenity insisted, “is where you’re going to move my mother’s grave‘
Grayson grew impatient.
“Didn’t I tell you we’ll talk about that later? Let’s settle this problem between you and your sister first,”
“Sis,” Aria spoke up in an apparently earnest voice, please forgive me if I’ve ever done anything wrong.

And just as she suspected, the next thing Grayson said confirmed her fears and made her realize what
Aria’s true motive was

He then tumed to his eldest daughter and said, “Serenity, Lucas Gomez is your sister’s boyfriend, so
don’t ruin her relationship with him. Besides, aren’t you with Jackson Valor right now? In that case, you
really shouldn’t get in between your sister and Lucat.”
Realization hit Serenity. So, that was the true reason why they wanted her there.
“I have no interest in what’s going on between Ana and Lucas Gomez,” she said, before once again
repeating her question, “I just want to know where my mother’s grave will be moved.”
“Are you telling me you won’t do as I say?‘ Graysan snapped with anger. “So, you re determined to
steal Lucas away from. your sister, huh? I’m telling you now, if you ever dare ruin Arta’s relationship,
you won’t ever see your mother’s grave ever
again
Serenity stared at her father icily and replied, “My actions won’t have any effect on her relationship
anyway. If Lucas really loves her, then no one can steal him away from her, but if he never loved her,
she won’t be able to keep him no matter what she does, then!”
“What are you saying?!” Serenity’s stepmother suddenly cut in anxiously. “You’re not trying to drag Aria
down with you. because you can’t marry Jackson, are you?! My daughter is nothing like you! She’s an
innocent girl with no criminal record and she’s going to be a superstar in the future! She’s not going to
end up lior you!”
If you really think that she’s nothing like me,‘ said Serenity with indifference, “I’m sure she’ll be able to
keep Lucas by her side with her own capabilities.”

documents regarding the application to move my mother’s grave along with the household registration
bookdet, and I’ll handle it myself.”
As she spoke, she realized that she had never officially moved out of this house yet. But then, she
thought about it and realized that she had nowhere to move to since she had no offici address in
Solicia. She could not put her name in the Sanitation Office collective housebuld registration, and as for
her grandother’s house.. she was sure that her uncles and the rest of the family would never agree to it
since they would suspect her of going after the relocation fund.
At that moment, it suddenly dawned on her how truly alone she was in this world. She did not even
have a single place she could traly call home.
