“No, it’s not that,” replied Serenity while shaking her head. Her problem was that movie premieres
weren’t attended by regular movie–goers. The movie stars themselves would be present at the

“I have to send Yanny to class, so I’m not sure if that’s possible‘
Upon hearing that, Jackson’s gaze left her and fell on the little boy standing next to her.

“Clara’s mother hurt herself and is scheduled for a minor operation in the afternoon. Clara’s at the
hospital with her mother, so I volunteered to send him to his class.”
Jackson frowned silently at her reply, Having come under his intense gaze, Yannick grew visibly
uncomfortable, so he moved closer to Serenity and grasped her hands tightly.
Naturally, she felt his anxiety, so she knelt down and reassured the boy. “Don’t be afraid, Yanny. Mr.
Valor here is my friend! I’m sure he likes you, just like I do!”
To make sure he could understand her, Serenity spoke slowly, and her words were accompanied by
hand signals.
After reassuring him, she turned around and told Jackson, “You should be more gentle with Yanny.
Smile at him more, or he’ll be afraid of you.”
She was expressing her opinion even on something as trivial as his facial expression.
Perhaps Serenity hadn’t noticed it, but her lone when she spoke to him was completely unprecedented.
If it was someone else, he would have felt disrespected and angered. To his surprise, nothing about the
way she spoke ticked him off.
In fact… he liked how casual her attitude was at the mament. She was much less cautious than usual,
almost as if the gap between them was slowly disappearing
“Since you’ve asked me to do it, I’ll listen to you.” In an instant, Jackson’s expression warmed up. His

Yannick blinked curiously as he observed Jarkson’s demeanor. Strangely enough, he didn’t look as
scary as before.
Serenity breathed a sigh of relief before she got up and patted the bay on the head. “Let’s send him to

Jackson nodded, and the three got into the vehicle. After Serenity told the driver the address of
Yannick’s learning center, they began heading toward their destination.
Throughout the journey, Yannick frequently glanced at Jarkson with curious eyes. The man would also
look back at han with a stone–cold expression. He wondered if Serenity liked children that much.
Human children were weak and had to rely on adults for their survival. Despite this, they seems to
capture the hearts of some women so easily.
At least, it was confirmed to him that this boy had captured Serenity’s heart.
Jackson observed Serenity asking the bay if he was thirsty, all while ignoring the mat next to her. He
couldn’t see how this kid was adorable, but for Serenity, he was willing to retract his claws and put on a
harmless facile.
“When does his class und?” asked Jackson.
“It ends at four in the afternoon, so it’s roughly two hours.”
