Chapter 1045

Time passed so quickly that the day of Catelyn and Cedrick's wedding had arrived.

They had chosen Aphro Island, an artificial island nearby Sapphire City, as their location. It was named after the goddess

of love and beauty, Aphrodite.

According to customs, the bride and groom were not allowed to meet the night before the wedding.

Since Catelyn was pregnant, she did not want to rush things. Therefore, she was already on the island the night before

the wedding.

Cedrick had booked the entire island for his wedding to only accept and entertain guests from the Mason family and the

Atherton family. Many photographers and reporters were looking forward to photographing and reporting the most

romantic wedding of the century.

Since Catelyn's mother, Summer, was no longer with them, Old Madam Atherton took her place to tell Catelyn the

responsibilities of being a wife and a mother. Both of them talked throughout the night. They were overwhelmed and also

reluctant to leave each other.

When morning came, Catelyn was forced to get out of bed to change into her wedding dress and have her hair styled.

Nonetheless, she mocked herself for being the ugliest bride in the world as Cedrick forbade her from wearing makeup-just

because she was pregnant!

As one of the bridesmaids, Jolene cackled. “I'm pretty sure Master Cedrick forbade you from wearing makeup

because he refused to let you be the prettiest and attract other men's attention."

Catelyn pointed at the right side of her nose and asked nervously, ' Hey, take a look for me. Is this a pimple? Should

I pop it, or should I just put on some makeup?"

Joanne quickly stopped her from reaching the makeup product. "No, no, no. It's just a tiny pimple! No one will see it

unless they zoom in on you."

She was invited by Catelyn to attend the wedding.

Harry wanted so badly to throw her out of the island, but Old Lady Atherton did not say a thing, so he knew he

should not say anything too. Besides, the host of the day was the Mason family. It was inappropriate for him to

make a scene and fuss when it was the Mason family's day today.

Catelyn exhaled deeply. "Okay...as long as it's not visible."

"Even if you have pimples all over your face, Master Cedrick will only love you!" Joanne looked at Catelyn and gave

her a big hug. "You must live happily ever after with him."

'Hey, count me in! I want to hug the bride to share some joy too!" Jolene joined in.

The three of them hugged. Catelyn patted Joanne and Jolene's shoulders and inhaled deeply. "Both of you need to

find your Mr. Right, too."

The makeup artist saw a teardrop rolling in Catelyn's eyes and quickly reminded her, "Missus, it's a good day today.

You shouldn't cry."

"What? You're crying? I shouldn't have been so emotional!" Joanne stuck her tongue out.

Catelyn quickly blinked away her tears before the makeup artist came forward to help tidy her dress, which was

slightly wrinkled.

Knock, knock, knock!

Someone was knocking at the door.

"Come in, please," Joanne shouted at the door automatically.

"Missus, Miss Winters, it's the Young Masters and Grandpa Mason."

The Mason family selected only the finest securities to be in charge of the security of the island today, and only those

who have passed security clearance would be granted entrance.

Lately, Catelyn's sons had been staying in Mason Chateau to accompany their grandfather.

Grandpa Mason took a peek into the bride's room and reminded Catelyn to rest well. After that, he left without entering

the room.

Miles and Ollie were wearing handsome sets of white suits and shiny black leather shoes. They even styled their hair with

hair gel-just like two miniature-sized Cedrick!

"Mommy, Mommy, I'm here!"

Miles ran over with his short legs.

He wanted to cling to his mother's legs babyishly, but the wedding dress was too complicated with layers and layers of

fabric. He tried and tried, but he could not get to his mother's legs. In the end, he decided to pull up the skirt to hug his

mother’s legs.
