Chapter 1047

Just as that woman finished talking, someone pushed her elbow.

"You better shut up. The Atherton family hates it when people say that. If either Mister Atherton or Old Madam Atherton

hears that, your company might probably be bankrupt tomorrow!"

"What...Are you sure?"

The others gave the woman a disdainful look and quickly stepped away from her. "Don't tell the others we know you. We

never say anything."

Catelyn was getting closer to the venue of the wedding. Miles and Ollie had many different kinds of candy boxes and

gifts with them. They shuttled back and forth in the crowd giving out those candy boxes and gifts. Their two puffy faces

looked so happy and joyful.

The emcee went on the stage to announce that the wedding ceremony was about to start.

Catelyn was already at the other end of the red carpet together with her bridesmaids. The lawn was covered with a

layer of red carpet. The large circular arch was decorated with lilies. Many pink-colored balloons were tied together

to form a heart shape and were hung on the circular arch. There were times when the balloon would pop because

of the weather. When it did, the staff would quickly replace it with another one.

The sentence, 'Congratulations to Mister Cedrick Mason and Miss Catelyn Clark on their wedding day!' was written

on the balloons. Ribbons flew with the wind, and the entire decoration looked so spectacular and dazzling.

Catelyn stood at one end of the red carpet nervously. She was grabbing Ezekiel's arm. When the ceremony started,

Ezekiel would walk her down and pass her to Cedrick.

Ezekiel looked at Catelyn's little bump with a complex feeling. "Kitty, are you sure?"

"Dad, I never think about giving up on Cedrick or the baby. So, yes, I'm sure. " Catelyn had the prettiest smile on her

face.

It was her wedding ceremony. The one and only wedding ceremony for every girl!

She was just a little nervous...

She looked at Ezekiel with serious looking eyes. "Would you give your blessing to me?"

"I... Of course, I will give my blessing to you. You're my daughter. As long as you are happy, I'm happy to do

anything for you," Ezekiel said gently while helping her to tidy up her intricate wedding train.

Catelyn smiled. "Thank you, dad."

At an angle where no one could see, a vicious glare appeared in Ezekiel's eyes...

At the other end of the red carpet, Cedrick was standing upright. He was wearing a black suit. His tall and strong

figure showed how majestic he was. His short hair was styled sleekly. His usual stone-cold expression looked gentle

today with a satisfying and mysterious smile.

Even if he did not say a thing, he was the center of attention just by standing there.

As the wedding song was played, Catelyn slowly walked over with Ezekiel to stand in front of Cedrick. All the while,

Cedrick had his eyes focused on her.

"Cedrick, I'm going to hand Kitty to you now. I hope you will cherish and love her. No matter how powerful you are, I will

never let you go if you dare to bully her," Ezekiel said while wiping off the tears in his eyes.

Cedrick felt like his heart had skipped a beat. With a solemn face, he accepted Catelyn's hand from Ezekiel...

"I will use my whole life to prove to you that marrying me is her best choice and a choice that she will never regret."

Catelyn was wearing a pair of white gloves. Cedrick could not see her fingers, but from across the thin fabric, he could

feel the temperature of her palm.

Catelyn could not stop blinking her eyes while her body felt stiff. 'Oh no. I'm really nervous. What should I do? There are

so many people watching US. Other than Nana and Edwin, there are those from The Atherton family and The Mason

family.'

In the very beginning, they planned to invite just a handful of people to the wedding. Only those who were closer and

more important. However, their families were two of the major families in the city. No matter how they reduced the

number of guests, it still resulted in over one thousand five hundred people from each family. Not to mention their

oversea business partners.
