Chapter 737
Vivian hesitated. "Do you really think he'll believe me?"
"And you think not calling will help? What matters now isn't public opinion, but whether Zachary still wants to
marry you at all. You don't think Tracy would have the guts to release that video without his approval, do you? He
probably knew everything already." Mr. Wilson's voice was grave.
A cold wave of dread washed over Vivian. She had manipulated Mia so many times in the past. Maybe Zachary
had been quietly keeping score all along, and this was simply the final straw.
With shaking hands, she finally dialed his number.
She tried three times, but each call went straight to voicemail. Her stomach tightened. "He won't answer."
Mr. Wilson's frown deepened. Just then, the housekeeper burst into the room. "Sir, Miss-you need to see this right
away!"
She thrust a tablet toward them displaying breaking news that was even worse than before.
The first response to Tracy's video hadn't cfrom Vivian at all, but from Zachary himself. In light of what had
been done to his sister, he had publicly announced the immediate termination of his engagement to Vivian.

yet deep down, she understood perfectly.
Even Mr. Wilson, who prided himself on his iron control, stared at her in disbelief. "Three days. Your engagement
party was just three days away, and now this happens. Reynolds has publicly canceled everything without even
a courtesy call. That's not anger-that's pure contempt."
He loomed over his granddaughter's crumpled form. "What else have you done? This can't be about just one
incident."
"Nothing, Grandfather. | swear," she insisted, her voice barely audible.
Mr. Wilson couldn't make sense of it. In their circles, breaking an engagement required delicate handling-private
discussions, joint statements, carefully worded explanations that allowed both families to save face.
But Zachary hadn't bothered with any of that. He clearly didn't care how it made the Wilsons look. Desperate,
Vivian tried calling one last time, but the result was the same.
"You idiot!" Mr. Wilson snapped, composure returning. "He's already thrown you to the wolves without a second
thought. Why would he bother answering your calls now?"
He narrowed his eyes, muttering, "I wonder if William even knows what his grandson has done."
His gaze returned to Vivian, cold and calculating.
Meanwhile, at the Sanders home...
Sarah was caring for Mia, and after two exhausting days, had finally helped her regain sclarity.
Though Mia's eyes remained distant and unfocused, they brightened whenever she looked at Sarah.
The television played in the background, filling the elegant living room. A news anchor in a crisp suit delivered
the latest update:
"In response to Tracy White's viral video, the first statement cnot from the Wilson family but from Reynolds
Enterprises. They've officially canceled the engagement ceremony scheduled for this weekend. The Wilson
family has yet to comment..."
Sarah watched with surprised eyes. Since returning from West Ridge, she had suspected this would happen
eventually, but hadn't expected it so quickly.
"Ha! Serves her right! Serves her right!" Mia suddenly giggled, clapping her hands with childlike glee.
"Mia, what-"
"Sarah, she's a bad person. She was mean to you." Though Mia's voice was clearer, her eyes still held that foggy,
distant quality, and her tone remained childlike.
Sarah understood that Mia wasn't fully recovered. In her simplified world, anyone who hurt Sarah deserved
whatever they got.
