Chapter 756
Hearing the word "photos," James approached Charlotte, his face dark. "In the future, it's best not to enter
without my permission."
Charlotte stood up abruptly. For days, she had been forced by James's mother to eat all sorts of lactation-
boosting foods to feed the baby, nearly driving her crazy. Now James was still treating her this way-she couldn't
take it anymore!
She said angrily, "Every day when you chome, you lock yourself in your study. You don't csee me, you
don't talk toare you secretly looking at photos of that tramp? | gave birth to your child, and this is how you
treat me?"
James looked at her seriously. Because she was frequently woken up at night to breastfeed, her face was lined
with exhaustion, and her eyes had lost their former brightness.
He suddenly felt guilty and his expression softened. "Charlotte, stop this. | know you've been working hard. It's

Charlotte's eyes reddened. She grabbed James's hand and said chokingly, "James, | just want you to spend time
with me."
"I know." James put his arms around Charlotte and stroked her hair, but his gaze began to drift.
The person in his arms was soft and warm, but the person in his mind disliked him greatly.
The next afternoon, the sunset painted the sky in fiery colors, as if the entire heavens had been soaked in blood.
Zachary once again entered Sarah's consultation room. The dark circles under his eyes showed he hadn't slept
well the night before.
Sarah frowned slightly. "Nightmares again?"
Zachary nodded, pinching the bridge of his nose. His mental state had been poor all day. Every the closed
his eyes, he saw the sscene playing over and over. If this continued, he felt he might lose his mind.
"The sdream?" Sarah asked.
Zachary's face was pale. "Always the same."
From a psychological perspective, dreams reflect a person's recent mental state, and possibly even their future
mental state.
The reason someone repeatedly has the sdream is because that particular scene is deeply etched in their
memory.
Zachary had likely never witnessed his mother's death firsthand, but when he learned the truth, his mind had
created vivid images in its extremely distressed state.
His subconscious had been profoundly affected by these images. His brain kept revisiting them, repeatedly
experiencing the trauma, which is why he had the sdream over and over.
"What are you worried about? Or rather, what do you want to do?" Sarah asked abruptly.
Zachary seemed momentarily dazed. "lI want to be with you forever. As for the other thing, you probably already
know."
Sarah nodded. It was simply to bring down the Wilson family-her goal as well.
"But if you continue like this, your mental health will break down first," Sarah said slowly.
"That's why | want you to be my therapist." He looked at Sarah sincerely. "I know you'll suggest | find someone
else, but | don't trust others. If psychological intervention requires knowing what's troubling me, do you think |
would tell anyone else these things?"
Sarah sighed. "I can provide therapy for you, but | hope you remember, our relationship will be strictly doctor
and patient."
