Chapter 763
After watching the video, Sarah was surprised by what a big shock Judy had given her.
She was about to call Melvin when his call cthrough first.
"Melvin, I've already seen the video online," she said.
Melvin paused. "Sorry, | wasn't quick enough. But I'm not calling about that—it's something else."
Sarah felt uneasy. "What is it?"
"Judy Markers has disappeared."
Thinking of the woman's back covered in injuries that she'd just seen, Sarah said mockingly, "That video was
probably made under duress."
"People always believe what they see. Even when the clues are right in front of them, they think they're Sherlock
Holmes uncovering the truth, not realizing they're just being manipulated," Melvin said sarcastically.
But regardless, there was no point discussing this now.
Sarah's expression grew serious. "Melvin, | need you to find out where Judy is."
"I've already sent people to look for her. By the way, it looks like Vivian will be released soon."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"| always knew this day would come. We underestimated the Wilson family and... we underestimated Vivian."
This woman had dominated the East Coast for so long-she wasn't to be taken lightly.
The video had stayed at the top of the trending list for a full hour after it was posted. Melvin had people working
to suppress it, but the Wilson company was likely putting in even more effort to keep it trending.
In a secret room unknown to others, Judy looked at the old man in front of her with terror. "I've done and said
everything you toldto. Can you letgo now?"
She was tied up, her body covered in bruises. She'd been kidnapped two days ago and hadn't been given any
food or water-only beatings.
These beatings, showcased in the video, had beca tool to gain public sympathy. She didn't know who this
old man was, but she understood he was connected to Vivian.
Mr. Wilson stared at Judy with dark eyes, his smile like that of a predator, making her tremble uncontrollably. "I
can let you go, but don't forget what you said in that video today. | was able to bring you here once, and | can
certainly do it again."
"However, next time, there's no guarantee you'll be able to leave so easily." Judy clasped her hands together,
nodding shakily. "I understand. | understand. Everything in the video is true. Sarah forcedto do it."
Mr. Wilson nodded with satisfaction and waved his hand. Someone cforward and untied Judy.
In the oppressive atmosphere, Judy quickly fled like an escapee.
When she emerged from the hidden room and saw sunlight again, she realized she was in the suburbs, without
another soul in sight.
She ran for her life, but couldn't shake the feeling someone was following her.
On the deserted road with no cover, she turned to see a car following her from the direction of the hidden room.
Before she could run even half a mile, the car caught up. Three men jumped out. She screamed in terror, "He
just said you'd letgo! What do you want?" "Master never wastes ton useless talk. He said we'd let you
go, but he never said you'd leave in one piece. When you make mistakes and say the wrong things, you have to
pay a price. We'll be taking your tongue."
One man pulled out a knife from behind his back. The cold gleam flashed toward Judy's eyes.
"No! Please, no!"
The other two men walked up to Judy and seized her arms. "Don't move."
Having been starved for two days and nights, she had little strength left. The two men quickly pinned her to the
ground.
