Chapter 125
Priscilla spoke with a smile that didn't reach her eyes, "Honestly, | quite like Yvonne. She's sensible and knows
how to handle herself. Even when Gavin embarrassed her in front of everyone, she didn't cause a scene or make
it worse."
At first, Yvonne had been upset. But once she calmed down, she didn't cry or throw a tantrum.
By the end of the banquet, she even comforted Priscilla, saying Gavin was simply deceived by her immature
sister, Yolanda.
"At first, | wasn't fond of the idea of a girl from a small family like yours marrying into ours, but since Mr. Savage
Senior and Mr. Henderson Senior had an agreement, and Yvonne truly is a remarkable young woman, | won't be
changing my mind for now."
Upon hearing this, Diana's anxious heart finally settled down. But in the next moment, Priscilla's words made her
tense up again.

"Don't get too excited just yet. Whether Yvonne can actually marry into the Savage family depends on whether
she can win my son's heart. After all, if Gavin really doesn't want her, we can't force them to get married."
The Savage family may interfere with their children's marriages for the sake of the family's interests, but they
would also consider their children's preferences. If Gavin truly couldn't accept Yvonne, there were still plenty of
other eligible girls from prominent families.
Diana's breath was caught in her throat, and she quickly nodded. "Yes, yes, | understand! Yvonne is a smart girl.
She won't disappoint you!"
Afterward, Diana carefully continued to speak with Priscilla, finally managing to calm her anger.
Half an hour later, Diana returned to the Henderson residence with Yvonne, who had been waiting in the hotel
lobby. Neither of them spoke the entire drive home, both lost in their own thoughts.
After getting out of the car, Diana glanced up at Yolanda's bedroom on the second floor. It was completely dark.
She immediately snapped in a cold voice, "That girl still isn't back yet? She's been nothing but trouble-lying,
cheating, and now stealing your man!"
The more Diana spoke, the angrier she became. She turned to Yvonne and promised, "Don't worry, Yvonne. |
won't let you suffer for nothing."
Yvonne forced a smile. "Mom, you're always the one who treatsbest. I've never wronged Yolanda, and | even
went out of my way to help her adjust after she got out of juvenile detention.
"But she's always treatedlike an enemy. It hurts so much... After all, I'm her little sister. How could she
humiliatelike that in front of everyone?" As she spoke, her eyes reddened with tears.
Seeing Yvonne so upset, Diana couldn't help but feel moved. "Don't cry, sweetheart. | won't let her take your
fiancé."
"Thank you, Mom!" Yvonne wiped her tears and smiled at Diana. "I'm heading upstairs now. | need to study for a
bit tonight."
Diana lovingly patted Yvonne's head. "Okay. Tomorrow's the weekend, so make sure to relax a little too. Don't

Yvonne obediently nodded.
"Mom, you should get srest too." With that, she headed upstairs.
Once Yvonne was in her room, she locked the door. The calm expression she had maintained vanished, replaced
with one of pure rage.
"You bitch!" Yvonne grabbed the stuffed animal by her bed and threw it violently onto the floor. "Why are you
stealing my man? Why?"
She could overlook everything else Yolanda had done, but not this. Gavin was
hers. She was the pride of the Henderson family, and marrying into the Savage family was her destiny!
"What makes you think you can take my man? Soon, I'll make sure you understand you're not even worthy of
being compared to me!"
