Chapter 232
Cianna was slightly taken aback, but she quickly replied, "Of course! Is Mr. Savage coming too?"
The Granger and Savage families had sties, so both Jeremy and Cianna were aware of the engagement
between the Savage and Henderson families.
However, unlike the public sentiment that Yolanda wasn't a good match for Gavin, Cianna believed that the
Savage family was fortunate to have gained such a skilled daughter-in-law.
In fact, despite the widespread belief that Yvonne would eventually becthe Savage family's daughter-in-law,
Cianna and Jeremy always felt that Yolanda was far more outstanding.
"Yes, he happens to be free this evening," Yolanda responded. She had originally planned a candlelit dinner with
Gavin, but she suspected Cianna wanted to discuss the formula and the upcoming product launch for Cinnamine
Pharmaceuticals next quarter. She decided to combine business and her date.
Though Gavin wasn't thrilled about the sudden addition of two extra "third wheels", he obediently drove to

As Yolanda sat in the clinic's front lounge waiting for Gavin, a commotion suddenly erupted outside. A young man
rushed in hurriedly.
"Doctor! Doctor! Someone has fainted!" he exclaimed.
Behind the young man were two other people carrying an unconscious woman.
The young man wiped the sweat from his face as he explained to Yolanda, "This is Mrs. Singer who lives nearby. |
was passing by when | saw her collapse on the roadside, so | brought her here!"
Fortunately for Maria Diamond, who was also known as Mrs. Singer, she had collapsed near Willow Creek Clinic.
It saved the trouble of calling an ambulance. "I've already contacted her husband. He'll be here soon!" the young
man added. "Quick, get her onto the bed!" Yolanda instructed.
Patients who visited Willow Creek Clinic usually had chronic conditions. However, there were also special cases
requiring wound care or emergency attention. Therefore, the front lobby was equipped with a bed to treat urgent
cases.
The young men worked together to place Maria on the emergency table, just as her husband, Darius Singer,
crushing in, panting heavily.
After seeing his wife with her eyes closed and in obvious pain, Darius anxiously grabbed Yolanda's hand.
"Please get the doctor!" he exclaimed.
"Sir, calm down, she is the doctor!" Dunstan, who had just entered from the backyard, quickly stepped forward.
"She may look young, but even Dr. Pattinson approves of her medical skills."
Darius had doubts at first, but upon hearing Dunstan's words, his skepticism faded.
Baxter had a great reputation in the area, and if anyone could be trusted, it was him.
"Mr. Singer, don't worry. I'm going to check Mrs. Singer's pulse now," Yolanda explained calmly as she began
taking Maria's pulse.
After a moment, Darius couldn't help but ask, "What's the matter with her?"

"Don't worry, Mrs. Singer has fainted due to food poisoning. I'll perform acupuncture. She'll wake up soon,"
Yolanda replied.
"Food poisoning?" Darius sighed. "I've warned her not to eat expired food, but she never listens! She always says
it's fine as long as it doesn't smell bad. We're not even short on money, but she refuses to throw away things
that expired..."
"Darius, sit down for a moment. It might not necessarily be the expired food. Let's wait until she wakes up so
that we can ask her," Dunstan suggested as he helped Darius to a seat.
Meanwhile, Yolanda began administering acupuncture to Maria. Fortunately, Maria's condition wasn't severe, and
after just two needles, she began to regain
consciousness.
"Where... am 1?" Maria asked groggily, looking around in confusion as she tried to sit up.
"Mrs. Singer, please don't move." Yolanda gently removed the silver needles from Maria's acupoints and pressed
her arm to keep her lying down. "You're at Willow Creek Clinic. You fainted earlier."
