Chapter 278
The Black Widow was a charismatic woman. Her speech was imbued with an innate allure, evident in her
gestures and expressions.
While Nigel and Brigham remained unaffected, the men behind them, including Jimmy, becsomewhat
distracted by her presence.
Yolanda glanced at Jimmy and couldn't help but shake her head at his reaction. It seemed that the Eternal Clan
had truly fallen from grace, reduced to having someone like Jimmy represent them.
She remembered that in her youth, the Eternal Clan was among the top three in the Havaria Martial Arts
Association, but sadly, no successors capable of winning the Havaria Martial Arts Tournament had been capable
of doing so since the current leader, Xavier Yate.

"I don't think there's anything to discuss. Since you admit you stole that shipment, just have your men return it
to me!" Nigel asserted.
His business primarily involved gemstones, and each quarter, he imported large quantities of raw stones from
Myaten.
However, a mysterious group at the border had hijacked this quarter's shipment, and the Hansen Group
employees responsible for transporting those stones were now missing.
"Mr. Hansen Senior, getting those stones back isn't a difficult task. While | do enjoy jewelry, | prefer those
sparkling diamonds over gemstones!" Black Widow replied evasively.
"So don't rush, don't worry; those things will eventually be returned to you."
"Bah! Just tellyour plan!" Nigel scoffed.
"Mr. Hansen Senior, | invited you here because | genuinely want to discuss a partnership with the Hansen
Group," Black Widow said with a sly smile reminiscent of a snake flicking its tongue.
"Partnership?" Nigel's expression darkened. "I have nothing to collaborate with
you."
"Why not? You import raw gemstones every quarter, right? The journey along the border is long and dangerous.
I'm sure you'll need an elite team to escort your people safely," she proposed.
"I've already thought it through. If you agree to cooperate with me, I'll immediately return the stones, and we
can work out shipping costs and profit sharing-you only need to give40%."
"You've got quite a scheme!" Nigel retorted angrily. "My shipments have always been secure. If it weren't for
your meddling, there wouldn't be any risk at all!" "And you better ensure that my company's people are returned
safely as well!" "I'm afraid that's unlikely..." Black Widow said dismissively. "Those fools put up a fight for such a
small amount of goods. As you know, my men aren't exactly easygoing..."
"Bastard!" Nigel slammed his hand on the table and stood up abruptly.
At that moment, the men and women seated around the conference room stared
at Nigel intently as if ready to spring into action at the slightest movement from him.
"Mr. Hansen Senior, don't be so hasty! Now that people are dead, getting angry withwon't bring them back,"
Black Widow said calmly.
"We're all businesspeople here. We know how to maximize our own interests! You might think you've lost a few
people, but the benefits you gain are worth far more than those useless individuals!" Her complete disregard for
human life reflected the ruthless principles upheld by the Serpent Alliance.
"What exactly are you trying to say? Stop beating around the bush!" Nigel roared.
