Chapter 374

The socialites chimed in, "Mrs. Henderson's eldest daughter is also at First Academy? Impressive!"

"I heard that it is very competitive to get accepted into First Academy!"

"Both of Mrs. Henderson's daughters are studying there. She must put a lot of effort into their education."

"Oh, it's just that they're hardworking; | don't manage their studies much," Diana said with a light laugh, her

eyes crinkled with the effort.

To break into the aristocrats, Diana spent most of her tmingling with people from backgrounds similar to or

higher than the Henderson family's.

She had grown used to being excluded while keeping a smile on her face, especially due to Yolanda, who had

endured endless ridicule from those wealthy ladies.

But today was different. Sattendees needed orders from Henderson Group for their family businesses, while

others had previously sought Harold's help. The remaining guests couldn't compare to the Hendersons'

background, which made Diana the star of the event-and put her in the spotlight.

Experiencing such treatment was rare for Diana.

Surrounded by admirers, she entered the banquet hall and stood in a prominent spot. She held a champagne

glass and chatted with a few ladies nearby, all while waiting for others to approach her.

Yolanda found this shallow flattery uninteresting. Knowing that the ladies were being insincere made listening to

them feel like a waste of time.

She glanced at Diana, who was being fawned over, and figured she wouldn't notice her absence for a while. So,

she headed to the buffet area for sfood.

Although today's attendees were mostly middle-class, the buffet spread was quite lavish.

Yolanda picked up sseafood, grabbed a plate of snacks, and poured herself a glass of juice before making

her way to a couch in the corner.

Just as she was about to sit down, someone rushed out.

"Hey, I'm taking this spot!" A girl in a bright red dress raised an eyebrow at Yolanda with an air of disdain. "Get

out of the way!"

Yolanda looked up at the girl and placed her tray on the coffee table in front of the couch before sitting down in

the middle spot.

The couch was wide enough for three people, but Yolanda was annoyed by the girl's attitude. She had no

intention of giving up her seat.

"Can't you hear me? How dare you act like this in front of me?" The girl in red fumed when she saw Yolanda

move herself to the center of the couch.

"You better clear out before | lose my temper!" The girl slammed her champagne glass onto the table and

pointed angrily at Yolanda.

Yolanda ignored her and focused on eating her seafood with a fork.

"I'm warning you! You are going to face consequences!" The girl's threat fell flat as Yolanda continued eating,

causing her expression to twist into something more menacing.

"Get out of here!" she shouted.

"What's going on?" Just then, several people walked in from the entrance and approached the girl in red directly.

"Who made our little princess angry?" One short and chubby girl stepped forward with an eager smile.

"Carrie, you don't need to handle this. We'll teach her a lesson!"

"It's her! That girl wouldn't giveher seat when | arrived!" Carrie didn't even glance at the chubby girl and

simply scoffed. "You guys deal with her!"

"Got it!"
