Chapter 117
With Her, Too-1
| bury my face in Zaid's shoulder, hoping to hide the flush that creeps up my cheeks.
| can't believe that happened last night.
Never in my wildest dreams... did the alcohol makebolder?
Not to mention how sore | am. It'd be impossible not to, especially with how big and thick they both are. My body
tingles, but that hum of pain rattles through me. | won't be able to be with either of them for a day or two.
Aiden laughs at something that happens in the movie, and I blink back to reality. His hands run up from my ankle
to my calf, a mindless caress he's been doing since we forced ourselves out of bed.
We're in the living room, movie on the tv and the lights from the Christmas tree are still on. My body is draped
lazily over both Aiden and Zaid, my head resting on Zaid's shoulder while my legs stretch across Aiden's lap. A
thick blanket covers all of us, covering us in warmth, but it does little to ease the soreness wracking my body.
groan softly as | shift, and Aiden tightens his grip oninstinctively.
Zaid shifts, looking down atwith a raised eyebrow. "You okay, love?"
"I hate you both," | mutter, eyes half-lidded in exhaustion.
Aiden chuckles. "We had to carry you downstairs. The least you could do is be grateful."

| tilt my head back to glare up at him. "Grateful? | can't sit for more than five minutes."
Zaid tilts my head toward him with a grip on my chin. "It burns good, though, right?"
My stomach coils immediately, and | exhale, leaning closer to him.
Aiden pats my thigh, his tone teasing. "I'm making ssnacks. What do you guys
want?"
"Ice cream," | say immediately.
"Popcorn," Zaid adds.

"And something to drink?" | add with a smile.
Aiden nods. “Got it. Try not to fall asleep.” He disappears into the kitchen, leavingalone with Zaid.
Silence settles between us, comfortable but heavy. | sigh, relaxing against him, but then | feel his eyes on me,
lingering, intense. | lift my head from his shoulder and sit up, looking at him. "What's wrong?"
His eyes leave a trail of heat as he studies the expression on my face. “I can't stop thinking about how beautiful
you looked last night."
My cheeks heat up, and | peek up at him, catching the way his dark eyes still drinkin. "Zaid-"
He shifts, turning slightly so he can facebetter, his hand lifting to cup my face. The playfulness in his gaze
disappears, replaced with an intensity that makes the breath leave my lungs.
I'm aching for him, for much more than just physical touch. | want to know him as much
as | know myself, see every insecurity and everything he loves about himself. "There are things | need to say to
you," he murmurs, his thumb stroking my cheek.
That makes alarm bells ring in my ears, but | keep my expression neutral.
"Things that normal boyfriends tell their girlfriends. Things | never got a chance to say
because of how fast we've been moving."
| frown slightly, my heart hammering at how serious he looks.
"Tell me," | whisper, placing a hand on his chest.
He licks his lips, exhaling a soft breath. "You are the most beautiful person I've
ever
seen."

"But | haven't told you how you scaredat first.”
| jerk out of his hands, chuckling. "Scared you?"
He drops his hands, holding mine, our fingers intertwined. He swallows and then
continues. "Because of how much you madefeel."
My eyebrows shoot up. "When we first met?"
He nods. "I could see the brokenness in your eyes. The sone that | feel in my chest. |
knew from the beginning that you'd completely change my life."
