Edith was very happy to receive the dress and warmly asked Alondra to have dinner with her.
However, Alondra knew that it was time to leave, so she just told Edith that she had other things to deal
with since she would soon go abroad, but Alondra still promised Edith that she would definitely find a
chance to have dinner with Edith before going abroad.

She called Hendry and told him that he had to go home tonight.

her to cooperate with him again. However, Kaylah refused his every invitation for no
reason.

Hendry’s temples pulsed a little, but he still said, “Besides, Kaylah and I have already divorced. You are
not Kaylah’s mother–in–law now, so the receptionist naturally can’t let you go into the company easily.

responsibility.”
Edith was even angrier when she heard this. “What did you mean? Did you think that I was going to steal
the confidential files of her company? Why are you still trying to speak for her? Now, for Kaylah, you

Hendry was so tired of being pestered by Edith with trifles endlessly! It was better to go back and have a
meeting with his subordinates instead of wasting time listening to her complaints.
“Is there anything else? I still need to go back to the company and deal with something,” Hendry said and
