Chapter 1387: "Didn't you already get evidence that Amoura is keeping someone in her house? Why not just tell Javier about it?" Phoebe said.
"It's not that simple. To make sure we solve the problem in one go, I'm going to observe a bit more," Eileen declared. She didn't believe Amoura would blatantly keep a lover around. If she could detect this, that meant Amoura was hardly discreet. Javier must have noticed this as well.
Was Javier really aware of this, or was Amoura plotting something? Eileen believed she needed to figure it out and avoid hasty decisions.

The owner of the shop himself spoke with Amoura and made sure the sales assistant was not implicated. But the sales assistant's job wouldn't be easy from now on. Resignation seemed likely.
Although Amoura buying clothes for a young man didn't cause a huge stir at first, Eileen's arrangements made the story quickly circulate among high society. She knew that eventually, it would reach Javier's ears. Eileen couldn't wait to see how Javier would react.
But before she could see that, Eileen's hidden camera in the woods captured footage of the man leaving the house at night.
The following morning, a car pulled up at the house. Eileen recognized it at once. It belonged to Javier's associate.

She knew my every move and managed to move the person out before I could expose her to Javier. This way, if I exposed the matter to Javier, Javier would trust her more and blme for trying to stir up trouble." But Amoura hadn't expected Eileen to pick up on the subtle cues and use the clothes-buying incident to gauge Javier's reaction. After all, it was just rumors, not tangible proof.
Without a word, Eileen sat up, slipped out of bed barefoot, and pulled back the curtains to survey the area. The nearest house from theirs sat fifty meters away. It had been hto an elderly couple who had moved to live with their children. The house was empty now.
Before Eileen could think of something, Bryan swept her up in his arms.
"The floor is cold," he said. He placed Eileen gently back on the bed and slipped her feet into fluffy slippers.
At the stime, Gabriela stirred awake and wiggled to the edge of the bed with her little feet dangling. "My feet are cold, too."
Bryan tapped her soles playfully, making Gabriela giggle. He helped her into her shoes freshes and she jumped down from the bed to give him a kiss on the cheek. Then, with a wide grin, she exclaimed, "Thank you, hubby!"
"He's my husband!" Eileen playfully stated. She had called Bryan "hubby" a few days ago, and Gabriela had learned the nickname. She said it with more natural flair than Eileen had.
"He's my hubby!" Gabriela exclaimed.
She even paused at the door to make her case.
