"Mom, how's Huey's mom holding up?" Jillian asked.
"Her outburst last night caused a cerebral hemorrhage. She's in the ICU now, still unconscious. Your father has been by Huey's father's side, comforting him," Jillian's mother explained with a heavy heart. "I was under the impression that his son, being in the gaming industry, might be a bit unruly. Yet, he rushed to the hospital the moment he heard about his mother's condition and hasn't left her bedside-a truly devoted son." Shortly after Jillian had said goodbye to Huey, a call from her mother had come. Winona had fainted in the car as soon as she learned about the change in their meeting location, suspecting something was wrong with Huey.
Upon arriving at the hospital with her mother, Jillian found Huey there, clutching his broken phone. The doctors were unsure how long Winona would remain unconscious. Judging by Huey's expression, Jillian sensed he would stay by his mother's side until she regained consciousness.
"It's unfortunate timing. We really should discuss your situation thoroughly," Jillian's mother said with a sigh. Jillian smiled and replied, "Don't worry. If Huey and I are meant to be, it'll happen naturally." After chatting a bit more, they ended the call.
