Yulissa lay on the ground, holding her waist. She had a feeling that her spine had broken after Xavier
kicked her.
If she previously had a love-hate relationship with Xavier, her love was gone now. The only feeling left
in her heart now was hatred.
Yulissa gritted her teeth. “Xavier! Why are you so cruel?”
Xavier frowned as he walked toward Yulissa. He forcefully snatched the syringe in Yulissa’s hand
before squashing it to pieces with his feet while he looked at Yulissa like she was trash. “What? Are
you trying to inject drugs into her too? Are you trying to corrupt her just because you are a deviant?”
“So what if I am?” Yulissa sneered as she looked at Xavier defiantly. “I want to drag her with me even if
I go to hell. What can you do about that? Are you going to end my life?”
Xavier used to be a calm man that wasn’t easily agitated. But now, people could upset him quickly.
He felt his blood begin to boil inside of him. Gritting his teeth, Xavier neared Yulissa with a murderous
look.
“Yulissa White! Do you think I don’t have the guts to end you?”
The murderous aura that Xavier exuded sent chills down Yulissa’s back. She started to feel afraid.
Yulissa replied, “I believe you have the guts to do so. You can’t do that to me, though. After all, Zyon
has already escaped, and nobody knows where he is hiding. But, he might contact me. If you
accidentally end my life today, you might lose your only chance to get hold of Zyon.”
Yulissa continued, “Besides that, if I were you, I would be sending Winnie to the hospital immediately.
Some people can’t stand the shock of a stun gun!”
As Xavier was just feeling frustrated earlier, his anger wasn’t out of control yet.

After hearing what Yulissa said, he immediately turned his attention toward Winnie.
Ignoring Yulissa, Xavier walked over to Winnie and picked her up.
Behind him, Yulissa clenched her jaw as she watched Xavier leave with Winnie in his embrace.
Thinking of the person outside who was on her side, she endured the pain she felt and crawled over to
the poison-filled briefcase.
Meanwhile, Xavier came face-to-face with Yulissa’s accomplice, Olivia, who was standing guard
outside. “Young man, please save me. That evil woman kidnapped me here too. Please help me get
away from here,” she shouted before Xavier could say anything.
She was afraid that Xavier would do something terrible to her if he thought that she was an accomplice
of Yulissa. That was why she chose to act pitifully.
Xavier had no recollection of any memory that involved Olivia and didn’t bother asking her what she
had been through. Thus, Xavier said coldly, “If you want to leave, leave now.”
Olivia let out of sigh of relief when she knew no danger would befall her.
As for Yulissa, she had seen everything that had gone down. She quickly threw the syringe at Olivia.
The latter picked it up and pointed in Xavier’s direction before pointing at her feet helplessly.
Yulissa understood what she meant immediately. When she saw that Xavier was about to disappear
from her line of sight, Yulissa raged, “Xavier! What is the point of you being so good to Winnie? She
doesn’t care that you are doing this for her. There are many men around her. There must be something
going on between her and the man who helped her take control of Garland Group, and everyone
knows about that.”
“I don’t believe that you didn’t see the video from earlier tonight. Didn’t you see how close they were?
Has she ever been so intimate with you? Xavier, you are much too arrogant. You thought you were so
great. Yet, you are nothing in Winnie’s eyes. To her, you are nothing compared to the man who helped
her gain control of Garland Group,” Yulissa continued.
Recently, anything about Winnie could affect Xavier’s mood quickly. This situation worsened after
Xavier became ill from the weird illness, making him lose control of his emotions.
Even though Xavier had started to calm down before this, he began to lose his cool again when he
heard Yulissa’s words.
He stopped in his tracks suddenly.
Although he didn’t move, the woman in his embrace shifted slightly.
Winnie felt like her head and her eyes were as heavy as lead. Even though she wanted to sit up now,
she couldn’t keep her eyes open.
However, she could hear the voices around her. She had listened to every part of Xavier and Yulissa’s
conversation. The way Olivia tried to gain sympathy from Xavier, the words Yulissa used to ruin her
reputation, and what Yulissa said to anger Xavier were all heard.
Winnie wanted to tell Xavier that everything he saw wasn’t the truth, that Olivia wasn’t as innocent as
she looked, and that what Yulissa said wasn’t true. Nevertheless, in the end, she couldn’t open her
eyes nor get a single word out of her mouth.
Meanwhile, Olivia had silently crept over to where Xavier was standing after he stopped in his tracks.
The man’s blood was boiling, and a buzzing noise filled his ears. On top of their dark surroundings,
Xavier didn’t notice that a weak old woman was slowly approaching him.

Suddenly, he felt a pain in his neck and a chill on his skin. With that, a syringe of unknown liquid was
injected into his body.
Xavier turned his head around slowly. He glared at Olivia. “What did you inject into me?”
Yulissa chuckled. “What do you think I have injected into you, Xavier? I thought you already knew it
very well. What do you think? Isn’t the experience of being unable to control your emotions freeing?
Don’t you feel great?”
“What do you mean?” Realization dawned on Xavier. “It was you! You are the reason why I’ve been
feeling strange. Did you inject this into me last time when you pretended that you were kidnapped?”
“Yes. That was the first time, and it had a long incubation period. That’s why it only showed symptoms
after so long. The second time I injected this into you was at your condominium. After that day, you
began to lose control of yourself more frequently. This is the third time now. If my grandpa’s data is
correct, you will lose control of yourself immediately. I’m sure you despised Winnie the most now. You
will soon feel the urge to strangle her to death later when you lose control. Do you think you will do
that? Or maybe, you will use a crueler method to end her?”
Xavier was stunned. “You crazy woman!” He quickly closed his eyes as he tried to suppress the
change in his body with all of his might.
However, his plan was disrupted by Olivia. The woman had picked up a rod from god knows where and
aimed it at Xavier’s legs.
Xavier stumbled forward reflexively as Winnie fell to the ground from his embrace.
Even though the fall was not serious, it did, however, unleash the fury in Xavier.
Xavier’s eyes turned red while the veins on his forehead, neck, arms, and hands popped.
