As Gale said that, she started to walk out with them.
Nicole asked, “Mommy, where are you going?”
Gale said, “I’m going to ask the doctors if you can eat these. It’s from Uncle Lefting from the day before.”
Nicole nodded. “I’ll make sure to thank him next time.”
