Chapter 179 No Longer Restricted
Viola just uttered few words. She had countless words full of her tender feelings that she wanted to tell
this
man named Rory, but at last, she chose to swallow them and only uttered those simple emotionless
words. Rory nodded in smiles. “I’ll walk you inside.”
“That would be troublesome. You’ve sent me to the gate. I can’t trouble you more? It’s late. Go home
early and
rest early.”
Rory didn’t force it. He nodded, and, after making sure that Viola had entered her home, he told the

to drive.
When Viola looked at lighting of Rory’s car fading away, she felt her heart broken.

Viola came back to herself and hurriedly wiped her tears away. “I’m fine. I feel tired. I’m going to bed.”
Mrs. Bull hurriedly grabbed her arms only to find her still crying. Viola’s mother asked with concern,
“What’s
the matter with you? Were you bullied? What did you do tonight?”
Though she heartlessly forced Viola to marry Warner, she couldn’t watch her daughter crying.
Viola took a breath. She pulled a long face and broke free from Mrs. Bull’s grip. “I’m fine. I am not bullied.
Don’t
you worry about me.”
Then, she walked straight towards her room..
“Viola!” Mrs. Bull caught up with her and asked again, “Are you bullied by men?”
Mrs. Bull couldn’t help and asked what was puzzling her. Viola looked at her mother in shock and asked,
“So
you were worrying that I had sex with other men?”
Mrs. Bull’s face became pale. Mrs. Bull then said helplessly, “We’re open–minded and I won’t judge that.
But
you are a girl. You need to cherish your chastity. Such things would only bring shame to the girls.”
Viola felt her mother’s words ridiculous. “Bring shame on me?”
Mrs. Bull’s expression changed, and Viola satirized again, “When you asked me to marry that scum,
have you considered my happiness, my shame?”

More tears welled up in Viola’s eyes.
