"Do you think they'll stop once I quit the team and when you withdraw your investment? Aren't you
curious about what they're trying to achieve through this experiment?" Lily looked at Alexander,
frowning as her eyes were full of puzzlement.
Alexander gave her question some thought. "They didn’t make any progress when you left for about
two months.
That's enough to prove they can't go anywhere without you and didn't find someone better to replace
you either.
"Yeah, they could get other investors, but it's not that easy to find someone to replace your spot in the
team. I'd think your departure from the team would be a huge blow to them, and they might not be able
to continue with it.”
His words made sense, but Lily did not think she was capable enough to where she was the only one
who had the potential to bring success to their experiment.
"What if they found someone to replace me?"
"There are a lot of what-ifs in this world. We can’t prepare ourselves for all of them, but the only thing I
