"He didn’t say a word? What did you say to him?" The more Lily heard, the more she felt something
fishy was going on.
"Nothing, of course!" Dominic said indignantly. "Why should I speak first? I had to wait until he told me
he was sorry! Who knew he wouldn't make good use of the opportunity and hung up on me instead!"
Lily was at a loss for words.
'The old man wanted him to apologize first instead? Anyway, there's something odd about the whole
thing. Austin would never resent Dominic for what happened last time or wait for him to apologize first.’

"So, you two didn’t say anything, and he hung up the call?" Lily thought about it carefully and asked,
"Don't you think something isn't right?"
Pouting playfully at Galen, Dominic glanced at Lily. "What are you talking about? That a*shole has

Lily knew Dominic was still upset and did not refute him directly. "Think about it. You watched him grow

Lily started losing her patience, so she glared at the old man and said, "Can you stop talking and don't
interrupt me?"
Dominic pouted resentfully but kept quiet anyway.
With that, Lily continued, "Is Austin someone who would stop coming here just because of what you
said? Would someone like him bear to give up the title of the miracle doctor's apprentice? Even if he is
furious and decides to cut his ties with you, wouldn't he scold you first to vent his frustration since
