me, his daughter would've been dead by now!" "It seems to me that he doesn’t love Anastasia that

much either. Hmph!" Fabian snickered. "Doesn't he have a mistress? I bet he's going to have another

kid with his mistress soon. If he truly loves and cares about Anastasia, how could he do nothing after

learning that she was poisoned?"

While following Fabian out the door, Maria suddenly realized something and stopped in her tracks.

"You're right! Did he pretend to care about Anastasia all these years?" "It's nothing strange. After all,

he's good at pretending. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been tricked by him!” Fabian had a dark look on his

face as he tried to hold back the anger that was building up in his heart.

Other than being mad, he was anxious as well. If he cannot get this project, he must get something

The couple got into the car, and Fabian drove straight to Cameron's place. There was not any

obstruction, as they had imagined, and they managed to enter the place successfully. However,

Cameron was not at home, and the two did not get to meet him.

"Uncle Fabian. Aunt Maria." Anastasia heard that they had come and walked to the door to greet them.

The sight of Anastasia astounded the couple. It had been some time since they last saw her, and she

Although she was still considered chubby, she was much slimmer than when they last saw her.

"Hi, Uncle Fabian. Hi Aunt Maria." Anastasia repeated her greetings and invited them into the house.

When the couple returned to their senses, they gave each other a meaningful look before heading into

the house together. Then they heard Anastasia's voice. "Uncle Fabian, why didn't you guys come

together with Rhea earlier?" "Rhea?" Maria did not understand what she meant but got it once she

entered the living room.

Rhea was sitting on the couch, and it was obvious that she had been there for quite sometime.
