Lily could understand the urgency as it was an unusual situation. Since she was to join the research,

the sooner she started, the better, and the earlier she could devise a way to tackle the disease, the

After seeing them off, Dominic dropped his smile and turned around to run upstairs, but Lily swiftly

son!”

"Oh yeah?" Lily drawled and snorted. "How dare you! You sold me out without telling me anything. You

think I have to listen to you because you're holding Galen hostage, do you?"

"Am I that sort of person?" He chuckled, then looked over his shoulder at her. When he saw that she

was not smiling, he dropped his smile. "Okay, I am!"

Lily let him go and sighed. "Never mind. I don’t mean that."
