After speaking, she palmed the doorframe and slowly crouched down.She could not squat down fully
due to her swollen belly.
Finally, the two guards reacted.
They turned to look at Lily, observing her pale complexion and the large beads of sweat on her
forehead.She was enduring tremendous pain, which did not seem like an act.

The guards quickly exchanged a glance and communicated silently.
One of them stayed behind while the other hurriedly walked away.
Lily was unsure how they would communicate with their superiors.She had assumed it would be
