The sky was already dark when Lily reached home, but when she noticed the lights were on, it reminde
d her that someone was waiting for her. It made her feel serene and safe.
She walked into the house and felt the warmth within. Alexander was sitting on the couch in the living r
oom, watching television. Seeing she was back, he took the remote control by his side and switched off
the television. Then he walked to the kitchen and brought out a bowl of hot soup so she could drink it a

“Are you cold?” he asked.

“Says who?! You look good! You look the best!” Lily chuckled and even pinched his cheeks mischievou
sly.
Alexander held her wrists tightly, stopping her from moving. With a swift turn, he had her pressed again
st the sofa. In that position, she looked up at him innocently. After staring at her face for some time, he l
eaned down and locked his lips with hers.
Alexander was gentle, and his hands grabbing her wrists, were now holding her palms. Soon after, he i
ntertwined his fingers with hers. The passionate kiss lasted a long time, and the two lost their breaths,
almost gasping for air.
