Lily yawned.She had never felt this tired ever.
Alexander also told her not to go to bed yet, so she decided to get up and took out the hair dryer to dry
her hair.

Lily smiled, "My hair is getting too long now.It’s just too much trouble to wash and dry it.I want to have a
haircut so I can manage it easier."
"If that’s the only reason, I can help you with the washing and drying part."
This was no big deal.
Besides, he quite enjoyed doing it for her.
"It’s not only because of that.My hair would sometimes get in the way while conducting
experiments.Even though I could always wear a cap over it, I still think cutting it shorter would be
better," she said after giving it some thought.
Since Lily brought up her experiments, Alexander was reminded of the incident from earlier, "Was this
what you were referring to? You went straight to the lab when we returned to Brown City."
"Yeah," she nodded, "Since we decided to give the public an explanation during the press conference,
we needed proof.I had planned to show them a sample, which would be our strongest proof.I had

Lily had never experienced using that road during peak hours, so she did not expect the congestion to

She could not hear him clearly as the hair dryer was too loud.
Alexander stroked her head and ensured that her hair was mostly dry before he stopped and
unplugged the hair dryer.
He moved in front of her and looked at her, "I said I have another question for you."
"what is it?"
"You told the media that the only thing you’ve added was some herbs that could help with sleeping, and
it was specifically made for your grandfather.Of course, I believe you, but..."
He paused as he struggled to choose his words carefully so Lily did not misunderstand him of
suspecting her.
"Don’t worry.You can be honest with me," Lily said generously as she reassured him.
"If I remembered correctly, you told Henry that if you wanted to poison someone, you could do it
anytime, and at that moment, he did look like he had taken something wrong, so, were you..."
