A few more people were trailing after them, carrying lots of bags and placing them on the floor once
they entered the house.
"What are these?!"
Lily exclaimed in surprise.
"They’re wedding gifts! I heard you’re getting married, so how could we not prepare gifts for this
occasion? Still, you must know these are from me, and those are from Mr.Corden."
Lisa pointed at the presents on the floor, worried that Lily would get them wrong.
"You didn't have to,"
Lily palmed her forehead and sighed.
The number of gifts was scary, as they almost filled her entire living room.
"Of course we do! By the way, this is for you,"

"What's this?" Lily took it and asked.
"This is from my dad.He wanted me to pass you this as a gift for your wedding.He said this isn’t
expensive, but maybe it’s just what you might need.I’m not entirely sure what he meant by that since it
must have something to do with being a perfumer." Lisa shrugged.
It was a small, delicate bottle, and Lily could already smell the faint scent before even opening it.She
was pretty sure it was a bottle of essential oil.
Since Mr.Parker was an excellent perfumer and typically created his products in limited quantities, Lily
knew it was a collector’s edition.She was honored to receive this gift from him.
"How is this not expensive? It’s such a precious gift, and you must thank him on my behalf!"
Lily was so touched.
Lisa pouted and added, "How could you be so happy when he had just given you such a small gift? My
gifts are way better than his! You should look at what I got you!"
When Lisa left home, her father gave her this tiny bottle and told her to pass it on to Lily as a gift.She
was so embarrassed by how stingy her father could be, but he insisted that Lily would love it.
