Barbara frowned. “I can believe it If you said Mr. Maxwell did that, but Mrs. Maxwell wouldn’t.”
“She must treat you better because you’re a director in the company. Does she have a problem with me because
you asked me to be your assistant without the company’s approval? She was treating me quite well during lunch
