“Oh, yes. I did.” An evil grin was carved on Peter’s face. It was as though he was a demon spawned from hell.
Esme recalled the time she was at Conrad’s villa. When she was about to drink that boiling, hot tea, her father
rushed to her and gulped down the tea without hesitation.
She knew her father. Hank Manning, her father, was a very selfish man. He would never show sympathy to a
stranger. So why did he grab that tea and drink it? Because he knew… He knew that she was his daughter.
