Chapter 500 The Diatoran God of War Oversees the War In Person

“We’re really thankful, Macy!” Willow said happily.

“No problem, you’re being too kind. This is part of my duty,” Macy replied. The God of War’s wife had

personally made a request. How could she refuse?

“What do you mean? Weren’t you just claiming that you’re the God of War’s wife? That means you’re

free to refuse us!” Zoey chimed in.

“Ah, then I’ll leave right now. Enjoy sleeping here alone in this humongous villa,” Macy

teased.

What was Zoey thinking?

“No, you must sleep with us!” Willow said quickly.

“Then could you please stop bringing up the God of War thing?” Macy asked.

Willow approached Macy and asked, “We’re just curious. Are you really the God of War’s wife?”

“Haven’t you already guessed that I’m a fake? Why are you still asking me? You’re making things

awkward for me,” Macy said, feeling slightly embarrassed.

She did not want to impersonate the God of War’s wife either. It was just that the situation. called for it.

Besides, she was exposed before she could even keep the act for a longer time.

“Since you’ve admitted to faking it, then could you tell me who the real one is?” Willow really wanted to

know Caspian’s real identity.

Even though Willow was confident that she was the real God of War’s wife, she was still doubtful of it.

She wanted to hear a clear answer before fully believing in the fact.

“What? I don’t remember anymore. I think you should ask Sylvia about it. I’m suffering from should ask

Sylvia about it. I’m suffering from short–term memory loss,” Macy prevaricated.

“Here you go again with that nonsense. You’re totally fine,” Willow said.

“It’s true! I’ve completely forgotten about all the things related to the God of War’s wife. I only

remember the other stuff. In medical terms, it’s called selective amnesia,” Macy could only make things

up in hopes of fooling her.

Seeing how Macy remained tight–lipped about it, Willow decided not to push further.

Willow, Zoey, and Macy entered the villa. The entire place was now very clean. It was as if the gunfight

did not happen here at all.

Sylvia was delighted to hear that Macy was going to be sleeping with Willow and Zoey.

This way, Macy could better protect Willow.

Meanwhile, somewhere on the sea, ships from Vadesia and Astronia were approaching

Diatoran.

They had even sent a portion of their people to Estrya in preparation for their coalition attack targeting

Diatoran’s east coastline.

With the exception of the northern region, the entire Diatoran had enemies attacking from all

directions.

These countries had already planned and made preparations to attack Diatoran.

In the South Aridlands war zone command center, an intelligence officer gave his report in a hurried

manner.

“Commander, I have new information!” he said.

“Speak. What is it?” Caspian said.

“We have enemies on the west, east, and the south. They may be attacking together. Moreover,

Astronia and Vadesia are preparing to join forces with Estrya to attack from the east coastline!” The

intelligence officer gave a report about the current situation.

Hearing this, Caspian’s face darkened. He had faith that the southern region of Diatoran would be

protected. But what about the other regions?

There was only one of him. He was not able to guard the other regions as well.

If Diatoran was attacked on all three sides, the country would be in great trouble.

Moreover, East Aridlands seemed to not be aware of the looming threat yet. Their defense force was

very weak at the moment.

“Commander, what should we do about the threats coming in from all three sides?” Benjamin

asked.

“Central Plains sent millions of soldiers, and they’re still on their way. Give Joseph a call immediately

and have 500,000 soldiers dispatched to Eastern and Western Aridlands! Caspian

ordered.

Now that the situation was changing rapidly, it was time they responded.

“But if that’s the case, only 500 thousand to 600 thousand men can reach South Aridlands. We have to

face two large troops. I’m afraid that this will be very difficult for us!” Benjamin said.

“We already have a lot of soldiers in South Aridlands. With the additional troops, there’ll definitely be

enough. It’s going to be fine as long as there are no major problems in the other two regions.” Caspian

was confident.

“Very well. It’ll be best if Joseph of Central Plains can send over more reinforcements,” Benjamin said.

“No. Dhord City of Central Plains is the lifeline of Diatoran and must be protected. Now that the King is

not in Dhord City, the people of Dhord City are distracted. There must not be any mishaps,” Caspian

said.

Benjamin nodded. He agreed with Caspian.

Following this, Benjamin began to contact Joseph of Central Plains to have him allocate some troops to

Eastern and Western Aridlands.

Joseph might be a Champion, but because Caspian was his leader, he must obey his orders.

After receiving Caspian’s orders, Joseph sprung into action immediately and conveyed the

order.

“The situation is urgent. I’ll be going to Southlake City to oversee the battle tomorrow,” Caspian said in

a serious tone.

“You mustn’t, Commander! You must take charge of the overall situation in South Aridlands. Besides,

once the war starts, Southlake City will be in great danger,” Benjamin said.

“Why can’t I? The King has personally gone down to West Aridlands. Why can’t I head down to

Southlake City?” Caspian asked.

“But Diatoran is currently surrounded by enemies on all three sides. If you’re not commanding remotely,

I’m afraid that the order will get messed up!” Benjamin said anxiously.

“Don’t worry about it. Now that communications are so advanced, I can still give orders even at

Southlake City. I must head over there and see for myself before I can be assured,” Caspian

said.

“Let me come with you, then. I can take care of you too,” Benjamin said as he nodded. He knew very

well that he would not be able to change Caspian’s mind.

“No, you have to stay here and supervise the battle!” Caspian refused.

“Why?” Benjamin asked, puzzled.

“South Aridlands can’t go without a leader. You must be the one to preside here. You have to stay back

here,” Caspian ordered.

“Alright then. Please be careful on your way,” Benjamin conceded. Caspian had already made up his

mind. There was nothing more that Benjamin needed to say.

At Riverside Villa, there were many people patrolling outside the villa.

Macy and Willow were sitting on the sofa, watching TV.

Meanwhile, Zoey was hovering over her computer and writing non–stop.

“Let’s go to sleep. It’s already late. It’s almost 12,” Willow said while rubbing her eyes.

“Okay, I’m getting sleepy too,” Macy replied.

“Very well. The three of us shall sleep together. That way, we won’t be afraid,” Willow said.

“What? The three of us on a bed? Wouldn’t that be too crowded?” Macy asked rather awkwardly.

“Don’t worry, it won’t. My bed is really big. It’s totally big enough for the three of us. You’re not allowed

to sleep in another room. You have to sleep with us,” Willow said firmly.

If Macy was not with them, she would definitely not be able to sleep.

“Fine,” Macy nodded.

Three of the women entered the bedroom.

“So, this is your and Caspian’s bedroom? What is this?” Macy had just entered the room when she

discovered a transparent object on the bed. It looked like an uninflated balloon.
