While Taya was hugging her legs and leaning against the headboard in a daze, bright headlights hit the
floor-to-ceiling glass.
Then, the sound of wheels rolling on the ground came from downstairs, and a luxury car stopped at the
villa’s gate.
A pack guard holding an umbrella opened the rear door, and a tall man slowly got out of the car.
He tore off the tie around his neck with one hand and ordered coldly, “Don’t let him in.”
The pack guard replied with a “yes.” After walking the man to the door, he turned around and walked

Taya stood before the French window and followed the pack guard’s line of sight. From a distance, she

Taya followed his line of sight and looked out the window, but she couldn’t see clearly. She had no
choice but to take a few
steps.
