Brittany strutted over to her desk, slamming her laptop shut with a resonating “Nope”
Derek knew better than to pry further, so he handed her a key card instead. “This is a new place I just bought. I had
it decorated to your taste, and the security is top-notch. Check it out when you have the time.”
Brittany took the key card with a nonchalant “Sure,” clearly not too fussed about it. She wasnt exactly lacking in
real estate.
Even though the Bishop family had seen better days, Katelin was still loaded and spoiled Brittany rotten

Derek didn’t linger. He needed to report back.
He pushed open the door to Radiant Residences. The lights in the living room were already off, leaving only the soft

He climbed the stairs to the third floor.

“Zac, you’ve been working too hard over the years. Nathan’s nearly worn out. Give him a few days off”

Even money-loving Derek couldn’t resist the allure of money. He agreed, “Alright, we can work with that.”
