Brittany was momentarily taken aback, then quickly realized Isaac had misunderstood something. She shook her
head, “Not like that… I’m just worried about your health. I want you to take a good rest.”
She did not have those intentions.
Isaac chuckled and planted a kiss on her cheek, “If you want, I can.”
“Shut up.” Brittany instinctively covered his lips. She did not want that!
Seeing her blush, Isaac decided to drop it.
He drank the stew Brittany brought and carried her back to the bedroom.

A deep male voice echoed. “Yes, proceed as planned. Marcel is on constant watch; don’t let him find an opportunity.
The project is going well, I’ve contacted previously… Alright, I’ll arrange a meeting.”
Hearing Brittany’s footsteps, Isaac raised his hand, signaling her to come over.
He spoke a few words with the person on the other end, hung up the phone, and pulled Brittany onto the couch.
“Awake?”
Brittany obediently nodded. “How did you wake up so early?”
“Got enough sleep.”

Isaac pinched her face, “By the way, Nathan was supposed to accompany Kari to try on wedding dresses, but he
has a business engagement tomorrow. Can you go with her?”
Brittany nodded. “Sure.”
She always treated Kari like her real sister. Trying on a wedding dress was significant; she had to be there.
Isaac kissed her lips, rolling and grinding.
Brittany cooperated fully. In her drowsy state, she only felt something being slipped onto her ring finger.
A soft sound fell, and it seemed to capture her completely.
Brittany lifted her hand in a daze, and her ring finger was sparkling!
It was a ring.
Isaac’s voice sounded distant and yet so close.
It felt like a voice coming from his soul as he said, “Do you want a wedding?”
