“Ms. Dustin, long time no see.”
Brittany Dustin hadn’t been around the film set around that time, so she and Stella hadn’t crossed paths for a while.

“Did Joseph Palmer give you a hard time?” Stella knew Joseph had Brittany working on design drafts, and knowing

Brittany just smiled.

Stella could tell Brittany was a bit upset, so she didn’t push it.
After Brittany left, Stella marched into Joseph’s place.
Joseph was holding a frail-looking young woman in his arms, typical of his taste.
“You’re here.”
Joseph patted the woman on the shoulder, and she left.

Joseph leaned back lazily on the couch, “You brought people onto the set, and I didn’t say a word. Besides,

Stella looked a bit upset, probably remembering something unpleasant.
“What happened? Did your bodyguard dump you?”
Hearing that, Stella’s face changed instantly, “Joseph!”
Joseph knew he hit the nail on the head. Stella had had many boyfriends over the years, but she never got angry
when they broke up.
It seemed like she really liked that bodyguard!
“Just a man, are you that into him?”
Stella shot Joseph a glare, “It’s all your fault! You had to visit the set, and now we’re fighting over it. He wants to
break off our engagement.”

This pissed Stella off so much that she couldn’t focus on her acting for days.
Joseph shrugged and asked, “What’s this got to do with me? We don’t have control over our marriage. You can’t
even handle your own man, and you’re blaming me?”
“Enough about this.”
Stella got angry every time she thought about it, “Stop giving Brittany a hard time. I like her, let’s just go with her
jewelry designs.”
“Alright.”
Joseph was surprised that Stella stood up for Brittany, but agreed.
After their talk, Stella left.
. After she left, Joseph contacted Brittany to finalize the design drafts.
When Brittany got the message from Joseph, she finally relaxed, sent him the drafts, took a two-hour break, and
then went to pick up Daniel from kindergarten.
She made dinner when they got back to Radiant Residences, and just as they were about to eat, the doorbell rang.
“Someone’s here!”
Brittany was still in the kitchen, “Daniel, can you get the door?”
“Got it, mom.”

her furrow her brows, and she immediately ran her hand under cold water.
Grace’s voice was getting closer, and Brittany didn’t have time to dry her hand before stepping out of the kitchen.

With Brittany facing Grace, it was hard to respect her like she used to.
But she didn’t show any displeasure. She just smiled and said, “Grace”
Calling her “Grace” highlighted the distance between them.
Gráce held Daniel’s hand and looked at the food on the table, “You guys haven’t eaten yet?”
“Have you eaten? If not, you can join us.”
