Chapter 247 A Day Tour of the Campus Allison beamed up at Alexander, her eyes twinkling with real joy. Alexander shot her a loving smile right back. Ralph, not able to handle their lovey-dovey moment, tossed his fork down and stormed off.

With James behind the wheel, Ralph took the passenger seat, clearly not in the mood for chit-chat.

James, always the nice guy, knew Ralph wasn't thrilled, so he kept it polite. "Mr. Lewis, Mr. Carter wants to make sure you have a blast on your first visit to Skycrest. Just letknow where you wanna go, and I'll set it up." Ralph scoffed, "What, you think I've never been to a place like this? Tell Mr. Carter to butt out." James just nodded and smiled, not bothered, and kept driving towards Stellar University.

Allison held Sabrina's hand as they walked onto the campus and bumped into Victor at the gate.

Victor called out, "Allison, over here!" Allison rushed over. "Victor, no classes today?" Victor nodded. "There's an academic conference. Your professor, Mr. Watson, askedto wait for you and bring you over. He also has sresearch stuff to discuss with you." Hearing about Joe's conference, Allison couldn't say no. She handed Sabrina over to Ralph. "Ralph, can you watch Sabrina? I need to see my professor." Waving goodbye to Ralph, Allison followed Victor. Once they were out of sight, Ralph turned to James. "Was this Mr. Carter's idea too?" James smiled without saying a word, making it clear it was Alexander's plan. He didn't want Allison and Ralph hanging out too much. Ralph, though annoyed, had to laugh at Alexander's moves.

Sabrina watched quietly, sticking her tongue out when Ralph looked at her, making him smile despite himself. "Do you think Allison and I aren't a good match?" Ralph asked.

Sabrina shook her head. "You guys are great as friends, but Allison can't be my sister-in-law. She doesn't like you that way." Ralph raised his hand, thinking about scolding Sabrina, but seeing her big, innocent eyes, he just pinched her cheek. "No allowance for you this month!" Sabrina shrugged. "No biggie. I have Landon's credit card. I can't even spend it all!" Ralph, though a bit frustrated, was just teasing. He took Sabrina to visit her professor, feeling better knowing she was being mentored by a top-notch scholar.

Allison attended the seminar, diving into spharmaceutical theories. The lecture hall was packed, and Teddy even recorded a video for Alexander. "Alexander, check out how popular Allison is!" Alexander, a bit annoyed by Teddy's tone, couldn't help but smile proudly at the video of Allison teaching. She was truly amazing.

After the seminar, Allison met up with Benjamin. "Allison, it's been a while. I've missed you!" Allison smiled, shaking Benjamin's hand. "I've missed you too. Let's go over the data." Benjamin nodded and led Allison to his lab. They had to compare data before moving on to the next phase of their experiment, which kept Allison busy through lunch. James brought her sfood, while Sabrina dragged Ralph to the university cafeteria, flashing her meal card. "Ralph, lunch is ontoday!" Seeing how at hSabrina was, Ralph realized she was a regular. Even sof the staff recognized her. "I'll have the biggest drumstick and a steak!" Sabrina ordered.

Ralph followed, carrying two trays piled high with food. "These are all really good. I've tried them all!" Ralph shook his head, amused by Sabrina's love for food. The meal was indeed delicious, and Sabrina excitedly shared the experience with Landon over the phone. Ten minutes later, Landon sent her a fruit delivery. Ralph texted Ryan, marveling at how intense relationships were these days.

James, delivering lunch to Allison, felt a bit awkward. "Mr. Carter knew you'd be too busy to eat, so he askedto bring this, and Dr. White's too. In the afternoon, please visit the Carter Group's lab to check the 3D printer." Allison nodded, taking Benjamin with her to the lab. By the tthey finished, it was dark outside.

Back at Serenity Manor, Allison saw Alexander waiting at the door. She ran to him, hugging his waist. "Were you waiting for me?" Alexander smiled, lifting her up and carrying her inside, where dinner was already set. "Are you happy with the arrangements?"

Allison nodded. "Very happy. The equipment is perfect for testing. The 'm' prototype for the medical pod is almost ready, but there's still a lot to improve. I might need to work in isolation for half a month." Alexander sighed. Having a capable fiancée was both a blessing and a challenge. "So, you're saying I'll be alone for half a month?"

Allison laughed, then nodded seriously. "I plan to complete several research projects in rojects in three years, so I'll be very busy. You might not seefor half the year! Mr. Carter, if you regret this, you can always return me." Alexander, exasperated, pulled her onto his lap. "Return you? Never in this lifetime!" Allison wrapped her arms around his neck, planting a loud kiss on his cheek. "Then, Mr. Carter, let's review my work plan. We need to balance work and life and have an efficient relationship!"

Alexander laughed. Dating a smart person had its perks. They understood each other well and didn't need to overthink things. "If you're in isolation for half al worth month; I'll go abroad for a project. After that, we can go on vacation. How does that sound?" Allison thought for a moment and nodded. "Sounds good. Half a month later is Christmas. We can spend it together! We usually spend Christmas on the island with Carl. Would you join us?" Alexander frowned. He wasn't fond of Carl, but he nodded. "You've always considered them family, Allison. Your family is my family."
