Marion spent the entire afternoon diligently practicing in the piano room. After finishing the last piece,
her fingers felt sore.

“Yeah.”
The man responded indifferently, his gaze landing on her hand. “Is it hurting?” “I practiced the piano for
too long.”

The man remained silent. All he did was lower his head to look at her.

should clarify this sooner so that you can move on!]
Although she had no idea why Alice liked her so much, she understood the pain of liking someone you
could never have.
She had experienced that pain for over a decade, and now that she was out of it, she did not want Alice
