When Avery walked out of the residential area, she saw Cayden standing at a distance.
Every cell in Cayden's body had been looking forward to her arrival. When she did arrive, he opened
the car door for her. Just as she entered the vehicle, he shoved a cup of hot beverage into her hand.
While it was summer, it was still pretty cold at three in the morning.
Yet, Avery's heart was warmed as she held the cup of hot beverage in her hand.
Nonetheless, she still fell asleep in the car.
Before she went out of the building, she told herself not to fall asleep and that she should talk to him to
keep him company. She was certain he hadn't slept well, since she herself hadn't slept well too.
Cayden was very focused on driving the car on the road deep into the night. It was much more quiet
compared to daytime. After driving for around twenty minutes, he pulled over the car at the location
where they were going to watch the sunrise.
Upon glancing at the watch on his wrist, he turned to her but couldn't bring himself to wake her up.
After all, they would always have another opportunity to see a sunrise.
It was then a car passed them by and honked very loudly.
Avery was jolted awake by the loud noise.
Cayden glared at the car for a second before shifting his gaze to her again. He spoke softly. “We're
here. Let's go to the top floor.”
She looked outside of the window in a daze and saw it was the entrance to Trident Group.
Moments later, she got out of the car and followed him upstairs.
When she felt an abrupt warmth coming from her back, she turned around and saw his well-built body
getting really close to hers. Upon raising her head again, she saw Cayden had already taken off his
coat and draped it over her shoulders.
“I'm not cold.” Avery felt apologetic because being taken care of so attentively by him made her feel like
she owed him.
“You need to be careful about getting cold after waking up. Children need to be taken care of like this
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtby adults when they're growing up,” Cayden uttered firmly and pressed the coat on her body.
She was still in a daze as she felt his warmth.
It was the first time she was on the rooftop of Trident Group. Currently, it was half past four in the
morning. From where she was standing, she could see the entire city. She had never seen scenery as
beautiful as that at a similar time and place.
As the sun rose at the edge of the sky, the city was painted with its golden glow.
Avery smiled silently as the wind lifted strands of her hair.
She was thoroughly enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Cayden stared at her smile satisfactorily.
“From what I can remember, you don't smile a lot.” He actually wanted to say he had never seen her
smile before.
He hugged her from behind and wrapped his arms around her body. He lowered his head and kissed
the black hair at the back of her head. With his eyes closed, he breathed in her fragrant scent.
“Leave your future in my hands from now on. You can't cry anymore. If you cry again, that means I
must have done something wrong.” Cayden turned her body around and stared at her face to face. As
the morning sunlight pierced through the city, he lowered his head and kissed her.
Avery stretched her hand out and timidly hugged his muscular waist.
She raised her head and kissed him.
She wasn't going to take the initiative to kiss him, but she wouldn't hide from him anymore. If he wanted
to smooch her, she would stick her tongue out for him.
Cayden held her tightly and rubbed her back with her clothes in between.
Her initiative thoroughly demolished his self-control as he started kissing her like a dog in heat.
“Hmm...” Avery couldn't handle it any longer.
He pinned her against the railing as he pressed his body against hers aggressively.
“Mmm... Ah...” Pleasure was infiltrating her body. Even though it was just a kiss, it was already making
her pretty excited. She started pushing against his chest.
Cayden was enjoying the moment.
Even after the sun had fully risen into the sky, Avery's lips still hadn't been freed yet.
He had completely lost his self-control as he whispered lustfully next to her ear. She could feel his hot
breath brushing against her cheek. “Before I won your heart, I knew I love you. Now that I've made you
mine, my longing for you doesn't decrease. In fact, it only makes me want you more and more.”
He continued to kiss her like a rampaging animal, causing her mind to turn blank.
It wasn't until six in the morning that he let her go, and they left the rooftop.
It wasn't working hours yet, so no one was in the company. Yet, Avery still didn't have the guts to raise
her head as she walked next to him.
Both of them got into the car before Cayden drove it away from Trident Group's entrance. “Let's go pick
up Rory and Zach together. We'll send them to my uncle's house.”
“You go ahead yourself. I want to go home.” Her cheeks were still flushing red. She had dated Zayne
before, but it had never made her feel that way. Cayden is too domineering. He likes to kiss me and
touch me, unlike...
She licked the inside of her mouth and felt a tingling pain.
“What are you afraid of? You'll be meeting my family sooner or later, anyway.” Cayden was completely
sure that he wanted Avery to be his wife for the rest of his life. Once she was ready, it would be time to
meet each other's parents.
She was touched and afraid at the same time. I read on the internet before that Cayden's father is a
member of the Moore family and that his family has a decades-old foundation in the city. There is
gossip saying that if his father had not been suspected of having an affair in his middle age, he
wouldn't have dragged the company down due to public outcry and affected the entire stock market of
the city. His uncle's status in the business industry isn't to be underestimated, either. As for Cayden's
father's second wife, she's said to be from a family that's similarly prestigious to the Moore family.
When Rory and Zachary came out and saw Avery, they were pleasantly surprised before they went to
her back and hugged one of her legs from behind.

Rory pouted and didn't want to go into the car.
Her father looked happy when he came back the previous night, but after a while, he wore a cold
expression on his face. Therefore, the children couldn't be blamed for feeling afraid when they saw him
in the morning.
Avery didn't know that her delayed message had caused Cayden to have difficulty sleeping in the
Moore residence and that it had caused many changes to his expression throughout the previous night.
“Are you sure you don't want to get into the car? In that case, neither of you is allowed to get into the
car from now on.” Cayden had put on his usually serious demeanor. As he spoke, he got out of the car
and dragged Avery away.
When she moved, the two children hugging her legs were dragged along as well.
Avery lowered her head and said in resignation, “All right, let's get in the car first. Then you can tell me
what's making you both angry.”
Cayden turned around and returned to the car.
Avery sat in the backseat with the children after carrying them inside.
Cayden had to park the sports car he drove earlier in the Moore residence because only a jeep could
make it through the path leading to his uncle's residence. Therefore, he drove a Land Rover out
instead.
When he was doing that, Avery waited outside of the Moore residence.
Cayden didn't plan to send her in to familiarize herself with his grandfather or mother yet. He was afraid
people like Kendrick and Lily would scare her off.
“Your lips look like they were stung by mosquitoes, Ms. Ery. Your lips are red and swollen.” Rory
grabbed her bag and searched for an ointment for mosquito bites. When she found it, she handed it to
Avery. “My brother and I use this when we get bitten by mosquitoes. It helps a lot!”
Avery took the ointment speechlessly.
Cayden glanced at her through the rearview mirror.
Her red lips still looked seductive to him.
When she saw his lustful gaze, she awkwardly turned away.
