Chapter 661 A Handsome Baby Boy Is Born

Outside the operating room, many people were waiting. There was Jeffrey, Xavier, Cecelia, Nina, and even Allie,

who usually resented Avery.

Just as a gloomy cloud descended outside the operating room, Kendrick arrived in a frantic hurry.

Seeing a crowd of people waiting outside the operating room, he anxiously grabbed his grandfather's arm and

asked, “Grandpa, how long has Avery been in the operating room?”

“Kendrick, you're here. Avery has been inside for over an hour now.” Jeffrey was relieved to see Kendrick.

The most outstanding grandson is no longer with us. At least the younger one is still here.

“Darn it! Avery is in danger!” Kendrick exclaimed. With no time to explain to Jeffrey, he rushed directly to the

operating room and slammed a kick on the door. “Open the door! Open it now!”

He stood up shakily, forcefully hitting Kendrick's back with his cane. “What are you trying to do, you little rascal? Do

you know that Avery's life is hanging by a thread? Are you here to cause trouble?”

Allie wore a stern expression, seizing the opportunity to malign Kendrick. “Dad, I think Kendrick is here just to cause

trouble. He might even be instigated by Lily. Both mother and son are truly despicable. You must stand up for

Avery!”

Jeffrey struck Kendrick with his cane, this time with even more ferocity.

to inject into Avery?”

difficult labor. I... I was just following the attending physician's orders and giving her an injection of labor-inducing

substance...”

“Can you check if this is a labor-inducing substance?” Kendrick snatched the syringe from the nurse and pushed her

aside before showing it to the attending physician.

The attending physician examined it thoroughly. After that, he nodded with conviction before expressing his

annoyance. “This is indeed a labor-inducing substance. Sir, I don't know what you're trying to do here. Are you

suspecting that our hospital would harm pregnant women? If you don't trust us, then why did you bring her here to

give birth?”

“Get my sister-in-law a new set of nurses immediately!” Kendrick's tone was resolute and left no room for

negotiation.

three to four nurses there. To prevent any harm coming to Avery, he had no choice but to replace all the nurses.

“Sir, what did we do wrong? Why are we being replaced?” asked one of the bewildered nurses.

“It's nothing more than the fact that the care you have shown isn't attentive enough. I'm going to contact the chief

physician and have everyone replaced immediately!” Realizing the gravity of the situation, Xavier quickly exited the

operating room the moment he finished.

Avery was in a state of semi-consciousness. Her mind drew a blank as the pain she felt was unbearable. She had no

idea what was happening in the operating room and all she heard was someone saying that they needed to change

the nurses. Why do they need to replace the nurses? What on earth is going on?

After all the nurses were replaced, the surgery continued.

Two hours later, Avery gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

This child was exceptionally beautiful from birth, unlike other babies with wrinkled skin and droopy appearance

which gave them a weathered look.

The baby had smooth and firm skin, but what was truly astonishing was that his little face was a mirror image of

Cayden.
