Jeremy sighed and gave her a resigned look. “I know you. You’re not the type who’d be scared of those people nor
would you listen to me if I told you to stay at home. I wouldn’t be surprised if you tried to investigate the matter for
my sake, and that’ll only attract more attention toward you.”
Corinne was speechless. ‘He’s right. Instead of being afraid, I’ll help him investigate the matter to see if there’s any
