Next, everyone saw him outstretch his arms and take a few steps forward They saw him and Chloe, faces laced

with faint smiles, hugging each other tightly. “Thank you for coming. Mr. Holmez” Chloe said.

“The pleasure is mine” Holmez said.

Everyone was utterly flabbergasted

“What’s going on here?”

“This woman knows Mr. Holmez?”

“And their relationship seems good Mr. Holmez’s warmth towards her even exceeds that towards Mr. Joshua!”

“What’s the deal between Chloe and Mr. Holmez?”

“Didn’t Mr. Holmez just say he came here to see a friend? Could it be that friend is Chloe?”

“If she can be friends with someone of Mr. Holmez’s stature, could she really be the plagiarist?”

After the two hugged, Jim Holmez glanced around and his smile gradually faded.

“What happened? Was there some sort of hiccup?” Jim asked.

Chloe shrugged, her eyes filled with resignation. Jim stared at her for a few seconds, then suddenly turned his head

to look behind him.

Keira’s face had turned as pale as a sheet. Her legs were trembling, almost unable to stand.

How did Chloe know Mr. Holmez?!

She lifted her head to look at Chloe only to see her looking back at her calmly, her face bearing a smile of respect

towards Mr. Holmez But in her eyes, that smile was full of mockery and triumph.

“So she’s your sister? The person she just mentioned who’s unwelcome in the perfume world, is that you?” Jim

asked.

Sophie had been watching the entire scene unfold and felt a profound admiration for Chloe. No wonder Chloe was

so confident earlier, she had this ace up her sleeve.

Hearing this, Sophie came forward, saying with a smile, “Yes, Mr. Holmez. Chloe’s so–called sister anonymously

reported to Chic Style that her sister plagiarized her work during the national selection. Also that Ms. Chloe’s work

in the perfume competition final is a copy of hers. She’s been relentlessly trying to get Ms. Chloe ousted from the

perfume world.”
