“Um,” Gordon fell silent upon hearing. As tempted as he was by the prospects of this, one thing to consider was
that Cynthion Group was related to the Thompsons, and his brother–in–law, Darius, was close to Yuri!
If Gordon were to betray Darius and join forces with Joel against the Cynthion Group, Darius would not be pleased
about this and would surely punish him if he found out!

joined in.
“Um,” the color drained from Gordon’s face.
He already began to hold a grudge against Darius for attacking him and demoting him to the Logistics Department,
and now, Seth’s words struck a chord within him.
He could not help but be even more tempted by the prospects of this practically flawless plan!
“Vice President Bailey, friends don’t stick around forever, but money and power will! I can guarantee you that once
we get rid of Cynthion Group, the Hughes will reap the benefits as well, and Elder Hughes would surely be pleased
about this! Even if Darius were to blame you for betraying him, there would be nothing he could do about it!” Joel
added.
“Is that true? Are you saying that Elder Hughes will change his mind about me if I pull this off?” Gordon was growing

Gordon replied.
“Yes, that’s no problem at all!” Joel agreed immediately. After all, his primary target was Iris, and Snow was simply
just an accessory. Thus, he did not care much about her at all, and handing her over to Gordon would not change
anything!
With that, the three of them spent the rest of their night chattering away, discussing and finalizing their plans for
the ultimate kidnapping!
