Not only did George help Leon when he was in danger, he deeply injured Harold and Harold resented George and

the Collins for interfering.

“Alright. Calm down! We still have Albert as our hostage and since we haven’t lost anything so far, what’s the point

of being so frustrated over it? You’re going to get a heart attack if you continue to rile yourself up like that,” Daisy

consoled him.

Though Harold was injured by George, Harold also managed to hurt Leon, so the situation for both sides were even.

The only shame was that they wasted a great opportunity of eliminating Leon.

“That’s true. As long as we hold Albert hostage, we will have plenty of chances to deal with Leon. Missing one

chance doesn’t mean anything!” Harold’s expression eased.

Albert became the key element in his plan of eliminating Leon. As long as Leon and Iris wanted to rescue Albert,

there were plenty of chances for Harold to set up traps for him.

Leon was lucky to escape once, but he would eventually be caught.

Just then, they both heard footsteps approaching and Royce hurried into anxiously.

“Royce, what’s wrong? As the leader of the family, you can’t act so hysterical!” Daisy said with scowl.

“Mom, bad news! Leon took Grandpa away,” He said gloomily.

He regained consciousness shortly after Leon took Albert away with him. Sensing the severity of the situation, he

immediately hurried to Daisy to inform her about it.

“What?!”

“He rescued Albert?!”

Both Daisy and Harold were startled into jumping on their feet. Neither of them expected Leon to turn back around

and rescue Albert without alerting anyone.

Though surprised, they soon realized that there was more to the story.

“Royce, Leon doesn’t know where we keep Albert, so how did he manage to find Albert to begin with?” Daisy

questioned.

“Well,” Royce muttered sheepishly.

“What’s going on? Spit it out!” Sensing his hesitation, she glared at him.

“Well, Leon barged in and captured me, before threatening me to take him to Grandpa,” He explained while

“What? So you did this!”

Daisy was furious and finally understood how Leon managed to rescue Albert.

“It’s not my fault, Mom! He threatened me into doing so. He would’ve killed me if I didn’t take him to Grandpa,” he

muttered fearfully.

“Damn him! He pretended to run away and snuck back in to cause trouble! How sly! We’ve underestimated him!”

Both Daisy and Harold were furious as they were just planning to use Albert against Leon. Not only did Leon escape

them, he managed to take Albert away with him.
