Valerie hung up the phone and glanced at the front door from the second floor.
She didn’t see Terrence’s Rolls-Royce. She felt relieved and went downstairs.
However, as soon as she went downstairs, she saw Terrence sitting at the dining table.
Terrence was dressed in a suit, a white shirt, and a casually tied sky blue tie. His cold features softened slightly
under the morning sunlight from the window. He looked like a divine god.

Terrence frowned.“Are you full?”
Valerie casually replied. Then she was about to go upstairs.
Terrence called her and said, “The company is having a celebration dinner next Friday night. Go with me.”
His commanding tone made Valerie's stomach even more sick.
