Chapter 326
“My reputation is totally screwed. Everyone knows I’ve hooked up with a bodyguard now. Will I ever be able to get married?”
The thought of lan witnessing that scene made her want to crawl into a hole. But she couldn’t just let it go.
She had been by lan’s side for so long, but he had never really acknowledged her. Instead, he appeared to be quite chummy
with Penny. He was even in a relationship with Carlene. She always seemed to draw the short straw.
Carlene, getting a bit impatient, gave her a nudge.
“You’ve got yourself into this mess.”
Although Dana held a grudge, Maja was the one she hated the most; she blamed everything on Maja.
They had crossed paths with Carol once, but Carol only knew them by sight, not well enough to greet them.
Dana was taken for an examination, and Carlene was left waiting outside for an hour. When she was starting to get antsy, Dana
finally came out. Dana looked pale as a ghost and felt the doctors were judging her.
Those who came for these kinds of exams were usually worried they might have caught an STD, typically people who couldn’t

keep their pants on. Fuming, Dana was about to turn back to find Carlene when she bumped into Maja, who was just leaving the
hospital room.
Maja was just planning to go to the restroom.
Dana was already fuming, seeing Maja only added fuel to the fire.
“Are you Penny?”
Maja frowned, guessing why Dana was here, but didn’t acknowledge her, heading for the restroom. Dana, however, wasn’t about
to let her off the hook. “Bitch, stop right there! You’ve ruined my life. I’ll kill you!“.
Having just run into her nemesis and faced an embarrassing examination, Dana was seeing red and charged at Maja.
Carlene, over on the other side of the corridor, heard the commotion and rushed over, only to run into Maja again. Just her luck.
“Why is it always you?”

She frowned, noticing Dana looking ready to throw down. She asked, “Dana, what’s going on?”
“She just humiliated me. I can’t take it anymore.”
Dana was smart enough to let Carlene handle Maja.
Carlene wasn’t a fan of Maja anyway, so she strode over.

“You lost my cat, and we just found it this morning. Now you’re picking on Dana, Penny. Are you asking for a fight?”
Maja felt they were clearly out to get her.
Carlene was peeved and about to slap her when Maja grabbed her wrist and kicked her stomach.
Carlene must have sent the two guys from before. Carlene hadn’t eaten anything, and she already had a stomach condition. The
kick made her feel nauseous, and her face went white.
She crumpled to the ground, clutching her stomach, her forehead beaded with sweat.
Dana saw this, and her eyes lit up.
“You’re done for; her stomach condition is serious. And You probably hurt her.”
Maja didn’t expect Carlene to be so frail.
When Carlene came over, she was already feeling off. She had been stressed about finding the cat in the morning. And Dana’s
crying had her so upset she didn’t Feel like eating.
Now her stomach hurt like hell.
Dana called for a doctor, and several of them came running, looking flustered.
Before long, Carlene was settled into a room right next to Maja’s.
Maja’s brow furrowed as she stood in the corridor, overhearing Carlene sweet–talking lan on the phone, asking him to come see
her.
She could almost picture how they would badmouth her when lan arrived.
